Chargesheet Filed Against RK Pachauri
Delhi Police on Tuesday (March 1) filed a charge sheet in a court against TERI Executive Vice Chairman R K Pachauri for alleged sexual harassment and outraging the modesty of a former woman colleague. Pachauri has also been accused of stalking and criminally intimidating the victim with gesture or act intended to insult her modesty. The charge sheet running into over 1400 pages was filed in the court of Metropolitan Magistrate Shivani Chauhan who has fixed it for consideration on April 23. Police has arrayed 23 prosecution witnesses, many of whom are present and former employees of The Energy Research Institute (TERI). Pachauri has been accused of committing offences punishable under sections 354(assault or criminal force to woman with intent to outrage her modesty), 354 A (sexual harassment), 354 D (stalking), 506(criminal intimidation) and 509(word, gesture or act intended to insult the modesty of a woman) of IPC. Police in its report filed in the Delhi High Court recently has said that an out-of-court settlement was proposed to the victim. The status report was filed in the matter in which the victim has sought quashing of anticipatory bail of Pachauri granted by the trial court in the case.

मुंबई की मकोका अदालत ने औरंगाबाद में हुए हथियार ढुलाई मामले में अबु जुंदाल समेत 11 को दोषी करार कर दिया है। जबकि 10 लोगों को बरी किया गया है….दरअसल, 8 मई 2006 को महाराष्ट्र के औरंगाबाद स्थित चंदवाड़-मनमाड़ हाईवे पर एंटी टेररिज्म स्कॉवड ने एक संदिग्ध टाटा सूमो और एक इंडिका कार में तलाशी ली थी। इस दौरान उसमें 30 किलो rdx , 10 एके-47 रायफलें और 3000 से ज्यादा कारतूस बरामद हुए.. मामले में 3 आरोपी पकड़े गए। आरोप लगा कि इंडिका को जबी नाम का
शख्स चला रहा था। सरकारी पक्ष का कहना है कि जबी कोई और नहीं 26/11 का हैंडलर अबू जुंदाल है, जो उस वक्त पुलिस को चकमा देकर बांग्लादेश के रास्ते भाग निकला और बाद में पाकिस्तान पहुंच गया... जबी के वकील का दावा है कि जांच अधिकारियों के पास इसे साबित करने के लिए पूरे सबूत नहीं हैं..वहीं इस मामले में मकोका की धाराएं हटा ली गई हैं। अबु जुंदाल को आर्म्स एक्ट के तहत दोषी करार दिया गया है।

औरंगाबाद आमर्स केस और 26/11 हमले की साज़िश रचने वाले अबु जुंदाल समेत 7 आरोपियों को विशेष मकोका कोर्ट ने उम्रकैद की सज़ा मुकर्रर की है। इस मामले में 22 लोगों को आरोपी बनाया गया था। लंबी सुनवाई के बाद पिछले हफ्ते मकोका कोर्ट ने आतंकी अबु जुंदाल समेत 12 आरोपियों को दोषी करार दिया था। इसके साथ ही कोर्ट ने 8 लोगों को दोषमुक्त कर दिया था। एक अन्य फरार हो गया था, जबकि एक अन्य सरकारी गवाह बनने के बाद मुकर गया। इन दोनों आरोपियों पर केस चलेगा। मंगलवार को इस मामले में फैसला लेते हुए कोर्ट ने 7 को उम्रकैद, 2 अन्य को 14 साल की सज़ा, जबकि तीन अन्य को 8 साल की सजा सुनाई है। आपको बता दें कि 8 मई 2006 को मुंबई एंटी टेररिज्म स्कॉवड यानि ATS ने महाराष्ट्र के औरंगाबाद के चंदवाड़-मनमाड़ हाईवे से तलाशी के दौरान 30 किलो आरडीएक्स, 10 एके-47 रायफल और 3,200 कारतूस बरामद किए थे। मौके से ATS ने 3 आरोपियों को गिरफ्तार किया था। गाड़ी चला रहा अबु जुंदाल फरार हो गया था। जुंदाल पुलिस को चकमा देकर बांग्लादेश के रास्ते भाग निकला था और बाद में पाकिस्तान पहुंच गया था। मामले की सुनवाई के दौरान जो दलीलें और सबूत पेश किए गए उनके आधार पर कोर्ट ने माना कि हमले के लिए हथियार पाकिस्तान से लाए गए थे, साथ ही यह भी माना कि आरोपी इन हथियारों के जरिए गोधरा दंगों का बदला लेना चाहते थे और नरेंद्र मोदी, प्रवीण तोगड़िया को मारने का भी प्लान था।

Supplementary charge sheet filed in terror funding case
Jammu and Kashmir Liberation Front (JKLF) chief Yasin Malik was among the five people named in the second supplementary charge sheet in the terror funding case filed by the National Investigation Agency (NIA) in a special court in New Delhi on Friday under new Unlawful Activities (Prevention) Act. The agency charged them of allegedly receiving funds from Pakistan to carry out terrorist activities and stone pelting in 2010 and 2016. The charge sheet, running into 200 pages, named Malik, as well as the founder and President of the Jammu and Kashmir Democratic Freedom Party Shabir Shah, Dukhtaran-e-Millat chief Asiya Andrabi, All Party Hurriyat Conference General Secretary Masarat Alam and former MLA Rashid Engineer.
