    हालाँकि समाज में वकीलों को बुद्धिजीवी वर्ग के रूप में देखा जाता है , लेकिन जिस तरीके से रोहिणी बार कॉउंसिल के चुनाव में हूटिंग , शोर शराबा , पोस्टरों से कोर्ट परिसर को गन्दा करना और कोर्ट के काम काज में जबरन खलल डालने का नजारा देखा गया वो निश्चित रूप से आपके नजरिये बदल देगा।
    इस तरह का नजारा अब तक छात्र संघ के चुनाव या फिर अन्य चुनावों में ही देखा जाता रहा है। लेकिन अगर तथाकथित बुद्धिजीवी वकील भी इस तरह की बचकानी ---- या यूँ कहे की गैरजिम्मेदाराना हरकतें करते देखे जायेंगे तो बाकियों का क्या होगा।
    इस विषय पर हमने कुछ वकीलों से भी बातचीत की , आप खुद ही सुन लीजिये ये क्या कहते हैं।
    हालाँकि कोई भी आम नागरिक जो कोर्ट में अपने किसी केस या अन्य काम के सिलसिले में यहाँ आता है , वो सीधी तौर पर वकीलों के इस व्यवहार पर सीधे सीधे टिप्पणी करने से बचता है। लेकिन ऑफ द रिकॉर्ड कई लोगों का कहना था की महज एक बार कॉउंसिल के चुनाव में इतना हो हल्ला और पोस्टरबाज़ी की जरूरत ही क्या थी ?

प्रत्याशी वकीलों ने तैयारियां शुरू की

रोहिणी कोर्ट बार एसोसिएशन के चुनाव नजदीक आ रहे हैं और रोहिणी कोर्ट बार एसोसिएशन के चुनाव में भाग लेने वाले प्रत्याशियों ने अपने अपने मुद्दे वकीलों के सामने रखने शुरू कर दिए हैं । बार एसोसिएशन के एक्स लाइब्रेरी मेंबर योगेश पांडेय ने कहा कि पिछले कार्यकाल में जब वह लाइब्रेरी मेंबर बने तो उन्होंने DJ साहब के सहयोग से फंड मुहैया करवाकर लाइब्रेरी का उद्धार करवाया और काफी अच्छी लाइब्रेरी अब यहां वकील भाइयों को मिली हुई है।
योगेश पांडेय ने कहा कि वह लाइब्रेरी मेंबर थे इसलिए कुछ दूसरे मुद्दे छूट गए जैसे वकीलों के चैंबर ब्लॉक में मोबाइल के सिग्नल की दिक्कत है इंटरनेट की समस्या साथ ही उन्होंने जल बोर्ड के पानी की समस्या को भी उठाया उनका कहना है कि आज भी वकीलों के चैंबर ब्लॉक में समर्सिबल का जमीन का पानी फिल्टर होकर आता है। दिल्ली जल बोर्ड का पानी उन्हें नहीं मिलता। यदि वह वाइस प्रेसिडेंट का चुनाव जीतते हैं तो यह काम उनकी प्राथमिकता होगी। साथ ही उन्होंने पार्किंग का मुद्दा उठाते हुए कहा कि रोहिणी कोर्ट में वकीलों के लिए पार्किंग की व्यवस्था नहीं है यदि थोड़ा सा भी कोई वकील लेट होता है तो उसे पार्किंग की व्यवस्था नहीं मिलती उसे बाहर सड़कों पर गाड़ी खड़ी करनी पड़ती है ।
कई बार गाड़ियां चोरी भी हो जाती है इस तरह के मुद्दे योगेश पांडेय ने उठाए और कहा कि यदि वे वाइस प्रेसिडेंट का चुनाव जीतते हैं तो वह सब इन मुद्दों को हल करवाएंगे और क्या-क्या मुद्दे उपाध्यक्ष पद के उम्मीदवार योगेश पांडेय ने उठाए आप उन्हीं से सुनिए
