त्रिलोकपुरी निवासी प्रेमचंद पुत्र भगीरथ प्रसाद उम्र 40 वर्ष एवं लोकेश कुमार पुत्र बाबू कुमार ,उम्र 38 वर्ष बीती रात जब गाजीपुर स्थित पर्ल ग्रैंड इम्पीरिअर बैंकेट हॉल में अपना केटरिंग के कार्य मे मजदूरी कर रहे थे तो बैंकेट के मालिक जिम्मी अरोड़ा ने उन दोनों मज़दूरों से बैंकेट में बने सेप्टिक टैंक की सफाई करने हेतु कहा मना करने पर दिहाड़ी न देने की बात कही ,मजबूरीवश जब दोनों अनट्रेंड , अनभिज्ञ ,बिना किसी सुरक्षा उपकरणों के दलित समुदाय से सम्बन्ध रखने वाले प्रेमचंद् एवं लोकेश कुमार जब गटर में उतरे तो ज़हरीली गैस होने के कारण दोनों ने मौके पर ही दम तोड़ दिया । दोनों मृतकों के शरीर मलमूत्र से सने हुए पाए गए ।
सूचना मिलते ही दिल्ली सफाई कर्मचारी आयोग के चेयरमैन संजय गहलोत मौके पर पहुंचे और पाया कि सम्बन्धित बैंक्वेट के दो गेट है जो दोनों गेट अंदर से बन्द है ,बैंक्वेट का मालिक जिम्मी अरोड़ा फरार है । मोके पर उपस्थित मृतकों के परिवार एवं पड़ोसियों ने बताया कि कुल 4 कर्मचारी थे जिनमे से 2 का अता पता नही है। चेयरमैन ने कहा कि ऐसी आशंका है बैंकेट में अंदर और भी कर्मचारी हो सकते है चूंकि बैंकेट के दोनों दरवाजे अंदर से बंद है और मोके पर मौजूद पुलिस विभाग भी किसी प्रकार की सहायता नही कर रहा इसके विपरीत मृतकों के परिवार वालों को ही धमकाया जा रहा है। मृतक मज़दूरों के परिवार में पत्नी एव क्रमशः दो दो छोटे बच्चे है जो पूरी तरह से इन्ही पर आश्रित थे ।
चेयरमैन संजय गहलोत ने कहा कि आये दिन इस तरह की वीभत्स घटनाएं घट रही हैं जिनके लिए प्राइवेट ठेकेदार पूर्ण रूप से ज़िम्मेदार है ।चेयरमैन ने कहा कि जब दिल्ली सरकार ने सीवर सफाई के लिए मशीन उपलब्ध करवा रखी है बावजूद इसके प्राइवेट एजेंसी और ठेकेदार इस तरह की करतूत करके मज़दूरों की जान से खेल रहे हैं जिन्हें कड़ी से कड़ी सजा मिलनी चाहिए ।
दिल्ली सफाई कर्मचारी आयोग के चेयरमैन ने पीड़ित परिवारों को उचित मुआवजा , नौकरी देने एवं दोषियों के विरुद्ध हत्या करने की साज़िश के तहत मुक़द्दमा दर्ज करवाने का भरोसा दिया ।

त्रिलोकपुरी निवासी प्रेमचंद पुत्र भगीरथ प्रसाद उम्र 40 वर्ष एवं लोकेश कुमार पुत्र बाबू कुमार ,उम्र 38 वर्ष बीती रात जब गाजीपुर स्थित पर्ल ग्रैंड इम्पीरिअर बैंकेट हॉल में अपना केटरिंग के कार्य मे मजदूरी कर रहे थे तो बैंकेट के मालिक जिम्मी अरोड़ा ने उन दोनों मज़दूरों से बैंकेट में बने सेप्टिक टैंक की सफाई करने हेतु कहा मना करने पर दिहाड़ी न देने की बात कही ,मजबूरीवश जब दोनों अनट्रेंड , अनभिज्ञ ,बिना किसी सुरक्षा उपकरणों के दलित समुदाय से सम्बन्ध रखने वाले प्रेमचंद् एवं लोकेश कुमार जब गटर में उतरे तो ज़हरीली गैस होने के कारण दोनों ने मौके पर ही दम तोड़ दिया । दोनों मृतकों के शरीर मलमूत्र से सने हुए पाए गए ।
सूचना मिलते ही दिल्ली सफाई कर्मचारी आयोग के चेयरमैन संजय गहलोत मौके पर पहुंचे और पाया कि सम्बन्धित बैंक्वेट के दो गेट है जो दोनों गेट अंदर से बन्द है ,बैंक्वेट का मालिक जिम्मी अरोड़ा फरार है । मोके पर उपस्थित मृतकों के परिवार एवं पड़ोसियों ने बताया कि कुल 4 कर्मचारी थे जिनमे से 2 का अता पता नही है। चेयरमैन ने कहा कि ऐसी आशंका है बैंकेट में अंदर और भी कर्मचारी हो सकते है चूंकि बैंकेट के दोनों दरवाजे अंदर से बंद है और मोके पर मौजूद पुलिस विभाग भी किसी प्रकार की सहायता नही कर रहा इसके विपरीत मृतकों के परिवार वालों को ही धमकाया जा रहा है। मृतक मज़दूरों के परिवार में पत्नी एव क्रमशः दो दो छोटे बच्चे है जो पूरी तरह से इन्ही पर आश्रित थे ।
चेयरमैन संजय गहलोत ने कहा कि आये दिन इस तरह की वीभत्स घटनाएं घट रही हैं जिनके लिए प्राइवेट ठेकेदार पूर्ण रूप से ज़िम्मेदार है ।चेयरमैन ने कहा कि जब दिल्ली सरकार ने सीवर सफाई के लिए मशीन उपलब्ध करवा रखी है बावजूद इसके प्राइवेट एजेंसी और ठेकेदार इस तरह की करतूत करके मज़दूरों की जान से खेल रहे हैं जिन्हें कड़ी से कड़ी सजा मिलनी चाहिए ।
दिल्ली सफाई कर्मचारी आयोग के चेयरमैन ने पीड़ित परिवारों को उचित मुआवजा , नौकरी देने एवं दोषियों के विरुद्ध हत्या करने की साज़िश के तहत मुक़द्दमा दर्ज करवाने का भरोसा दिया ।
