The newly constructed Rouse Avenue Court Complex, where all corruption cases will be tried, was inaugurated on Monday. According to the Delhi High Court notification, all courts of special judge, the Central Bureau of Investigation, Anti-Corruption Branch and labour courts in Delhi, shall function from the Rouse Avenue Court Complex from April 9.
Judge OP Saini, who heard 2G spectrum allocation case, has been appointed the District and sessions -cum-special judge of the eight-storey court complex on Deen Dayal Upadhyay Marg, which has 42 courtrooms. Delhi High Court judges, including chief justice Rajendra Menon, Justice S Ravindra Bhat and Justice GS Sistani, were at the event.

Congress Vice President Rahul Gandhi while taking part in the debate on Lokpal Bill asked why the ongoing Parliament's Winter Session could not be extended to ensure that the pending anti-corruption bills also could be passed. "Prevention of Corruption Bill, 2013 Amendment, The right to Citizens to time bound delivery of goods and services and redressal of grievance Bill, 2011, Public procurement Bill 2012, Bill to address foreign bribery as required under Article 16, Judicial Standards and Accountability Bill 2010, The whistle blowers protection Bill, 2011; these are those Bills which we can pass. If necessary Madam Speaker, can we not extend the session of Parliament to complete the passage of these bills and provide this country with a frame work to fight corruption" urged the Congress Member of Parliament from Amethi.

Congress Vice President Rahul Gandhi visited Khandwa, Madhya Pradesh to address an election rally. While addressing to the masses he lashed out at BJP for corruption. "There were corruption cases, earlier also, but people had difficulties to know much about it. We, therefore, enacted Right to Information law. Now every citizen is legally entitled to gather any information about government functioning. As a result lots of graft cases came out," said Rahul Gandhi.
