पंजाब में जिस प्रकार ' बेटी बचाओ और बेटी पढ़ाओ ' नारे का प्रचार किया जा रहा है वो लगता है की बस एक नारा ही बन कर रह गया है और समाज में इसके असली मतलब की जागरूकता के नहीं होने क चलते हर जगह इसका मज़ाक ही बन गया है | ताज़ा मामला सामने आया है जालंधर का जहाँ दो दिन से नवजन्मे बच्चो की लाशें नहर में तैरती दिखाई दे रही है | बीते दिन एक बच्चे का शव पाया गया था वही आज सुबह एक नवजन्मी बच्ची का शव भी नहर में तैरता हुआ मिला , जिस वजह से शहर सकते में है और लोगो का इंसानियत से विश्वास ही उठ गया है |
वही इसी को लेकर शुक्रवार देर शाम जालंधर के दोआबा चौक नज़दीक पड़ती नंदा मेडिकोस , मेडिकल की दूकान पर हंगामा हो गया | दरहसल , दूकान पर एक महिला दवाई लेने पहुंची थी जहाँ उसने देखा की एक युवती करीब 22 साल की अपने हाथ में एबॉर्शन किट लेकर खड़ी है | उसने इस बात का विरोध कर पुछा की क्या इसकी परमिशन है या कोई डॉक्टर की पर्ची और वो ऐसा क्यों कर रही है ? वही सवाल उसने केमिस्ट से भी पुछा की बिना पर्ची के क्या ये किट दी जा सकती है ? , जिस कारण वो घबरा गया और मेडिसिन किट को फेंकने को कहने लगा | महिला ने बताया की उसकी खुद की दो बेटियां है जिसे वो बहुत प्यार करती है और अगर किसी को अपनी बेटी नहीं पसंद वो उसे दे दे , वो पाल लेंगी | वही महिला ने मेडिकल डिपार्टमेंट में कंप्लेंट कर दी , जिसके बाद जांच टीम पहुंची और उक्त किट के साथ अन्य किट भी ज़ब्त की | पूछताछ में केमिस्ट ने भी माना की वो ये किट बिना किसी स्लिप के बेच रहा था | जांच टीम ने कहा की जांच के बाद बनती कार्यवाही की जायेगी |
मगर यहाँ देखने वाली बात ये भी है की उक्त लड़की अपना एबॉर्शन क्यों करवाना चाहती है ? क्या उसने लिंग टेस्ट करवाया है की लड़की है या लड़का ? अगर हां तो ये भी एक जुर्म है और जिसने ये किया वो भी आरोपी है | क्या उसे अभी बच्चा नहीं चाहिए ? अगर नहीं तो क्या इसकी परमिशन या सलाह डॉक्टर से ली गयी थी ? मगर ऐसा नहीं था इसीलिए वो बिना पर्ची के ये किट ले रही थी | सरकार अगर दावे करती है एयर नारा लगाती है तो उसकी पूरी जानकारी जनता को मुआहिया करवानी चाहिए ताकि जनता जागरूक हो मगर ऐसा कुछ ज़मीनी स्तर पर होता नहीं दिख रहा |

वही इसी को लेकर शुक्रवार देर शाम जालंधर के दोआबा चौक नज़दीक पड़ती नंदा मेडिकोस , मेडिकल की दूकान पर हंगामा हो गया | दरहसल , दूकान पर एक महिला दवाई लेने पहुंची थी जहाँ उसने देखा की एक युवती करीब 22 साल की अपने हाथ में एबॉर्शन किट लेकर खड़ी है | उसने इस बात का विरोध कर पुछा की क्या इसकी परमिशन है या कोई डॉक्टर की पर्ची और वो ऐसा क्यों कर रही है ? वही सवाल उसने केमिस्ट से भी पुछा की बिना पर्ची के क्या ये किट दी जा सकती है ? , जिस कारण वो घबरा गया और मेडिसिन किट को फेंकने को कहने लगा | महिला ने बताया की उसकी खुद की दो बेटियां है जिसे वो बहुत प्यार करती है और अगर किसी को अपनी बेटी नहीं पसंद वो उसे दे दे , वो पाल लेंगी | वही महिला ने मेडिकल डिपार्टमेंट में कंप्लेंट कर दी , जिसके बाद जांच टीम पहुंची और उक्त किट के साथ अन्य किट भी ज़ब्त की | पूछताछ में केमिस्ट ने भी माना की वो ये किट बिना किसी स्लिप के बेच रहा था | जांच टीम ने कहा की जांच के बाद बनती कार्यवाही की जायेगी |
मगर यहाँ देखने वाली बात ये भी है की उक्त लड़की अपना एबॉर्शन क्यों करवाना चाहती है ? क्या उसने लिंग टेस्ट करवाया है की लड़की है या लड़का ? अगर हां तो ये भी एक जुर्म है और जिसने ये किया वो भी आरोपी है | क्या उसे अभी बच्चा नहीं चाहिए ? अगर नहीं तो क्या इसकी परमिशन या सलाह डॉक्टर से ली गयी थी ? मगर ऐसा नहीं था इसीलिए वो बिना पर्ची के ये किट ले रही थी | सरकार अगर दावे करती है एयर नारा लगाती है तो उसकी पूरी जानकारी जनता को मुआहिया करवानी चाहिए ताकि जनता जागरूक हो मगर ऐसा कुछ ज़मीनी स्तर पर होता नहीं दिख रहा |
