Shahdol: Congress Vice President Rahul Gandhi kick-started his party's campaign for the upcoming Assembly elections in Madhya Pradesh by addressing a huge election rally in Shahdol. "I just want to tell you one thing. You see the women and the youth here. I see that there is no adequate representation for women, youth and adivasis in assemblies and parliament. The country will not achieve development until we achieve success in this. I assure you that I am with you in this battle... we have familial relation - it isn't a political connection, these are ties of respect and love and will remain forever".

Amethi: Congress Vice President Rahul Gandhi, who was on a three-day visit to his parliament constituency Amethi recently, laid the foundation stone for a Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF) Camp and recruitment centre at Trisundi in Bhadar. Addressing the event, the Congress vice president urged the people of Amethi to welcome the UP's first CRPF Recruit Training Centre. "Amethi is your home as well as mine. These CRPF Jawans are my guests as well as yours. So we must extend a warm welcome and affection to them and we should work in tandem with them for the benefit of our country" urged Rahul Gandhi. "Hindustan is a concept as well as a country. The people, the officers and the ministers frame this concept and the idea is to take everyone along in the process of development. So let us strengthen this concept" added the Congress Member of Parliament from Amethi.
