सिद्धार्थनगर ज़िले में चुनावी माहौल पूरी तरह से परवान चढ़ चुका है और बड़े नेताओं की चुनावी जनसभाएं लगातार हो रही हैं। इसी क्रम में आज प्रदेश के मुख्यमंत्री योगी आदित्यनाथ ने ज़िले के कपिलवस्तु विधासभा के बर्डपुर चौराहे के बुद्ध विद्या पीठ डिग्री कालेज के प्रांगण में भाजपा प्रत्याशी श्यामधनी राही के समर्थन में जनसभा कर जनता से वोट की अपील की और प्रदेश में दोबारा भाजपा की सरकार बनाने की अपील किया। जनसभा के दौरान मुख्यमंत्री योगी आदित्यनाथ ने जनता को संबोधित करते हुए विपक्ष एवं माफियाओं पर भी जमकर करारा प्रहार किया। योगी आदित्यनाथ ने कहा कि पहले की सरकारें धर्म देख कर बिजली देती थी और हमारी सरकार सभी का विकास कर रही है। यहां हत्या होने पर सपा के लोग हत्यारों के यहां जाते थे। हमे हर महीने सिद्धार्थनगर जिले में आना पड़ता था।

6 जून को रेलवे स्टेशन और कई धार्मिक स्थलों को आतंकवादियों द्वारा बम उड़ा देने की धमकी के बाद उत्तर प्रदेश के DGP द्वारा रेलवे पुलिस को अलर्ट कर दिया गया है। जिसके चलते बुधवार को मुज़फ्फरनगर के रेलवे स्टेशन पर सुबह से ही भारी पुलिस फ़ोर्स के साथ जबरदस्त चैकिंग अभियान चलाया गया। आज के इस चैकिंग अभियान में रेलवे स्टेशन के साथ साथ ट्रेनों में भी यात्रियों के सामान की सघनता से चैकिंग की गई। G.R.P.F इंस्पेक्टर किशन अवतार ने जानकारी देते हुए बताया की आज 6 जून के लिए कुछ आतंकवादी संगठन द्वारा रेलवे स्टेशनों को बम से उड़ा देने की धमकी दी गई थी। जिसके मध्यनजर हमारे उच्य अधिकारियो ADG रेलवे और उत्तर प्रदेश के DGP द्वारा विशेष चैकिंग अभियान के लिए निर्देशित किया गया था। उन्ही आदेशों का पालन करते हुए हमने सुबह से ही मुज़फ्फरनगर रेलवे स्टेशन पर चैकिंग अभियान चला रखा है। जो रात तक चलता रहेगा। सुबह डॉग स्क्वॉयड द्वारा चैकिंग की गई थी। और उसके बाद GRPF और RPF पुलिस द्वारा सयुक्त चैकिंग अभियान चलाया जा रहा है। अभी तक सब कुछ ठीक चल रहा है।
