    भारतरत्न डॉ.बाबासाहेब आंबेडकर यांच्या जयंतीदिनी काढण्यात आलेल्या मिरवणुकीमध्ये धुडगुस घालणार्‍यांवर गुन्हे दाखल करुन कारवाई करण्यात यावी, या मागणीचे निवेदन शहर भाजपाच्यावतीने जिल्हा पोलिस अधिक्षक मनोज पाटील यांना देण्यात आले. याप्रसंगी भाजपाचे शहर जिल्हाध्यक्ष महेंद्र गंधे, संघटन सरचिटणीस अ‍ॅड.विवेक नाईक, सरचिटणीस तुषार पोटे, महेश नामदे, अनुसूचित मोर्चाचे प्रदेश सचिव मनेष साठे, शहराध्यक्ष चंद्रकांत पाटोळे, महिला मोर्चाच्या कुसूम शेलार, संतोष गांधी, ज्ञानेश्वर काळे, वसंत राठोड, सुमित बटुळे, बाबासाहेब सानप, बाळासाहेब गायकवाड, अशोक भोसले, अमोल निस्ताने आदि उपस्थित होते.

    जिल्हा पोलिस अधिक्षकांना देण्यात आलेल्या निवेदनात म्हटले आहे की, दि.14 एप्रिल 2022 रोजी भारतरत्न डॉ.बाबासाहेब आंबेडकर यांच्या जयंतीनिमित्ताने अहमदनगर शहरातील विविध सामाजिक संघटनांनी मिरवणुकीचे आयोजन केले होते. ही मिरवणुक शांततेच्या मार्गाने चालू असतांना, काही समाज कंटकांनी विनाकारण मिरवणुकीमध्ये धुडगुस घालण्याचा व महिला तसेच मुलींची छेड काढण्याचा प्रयत्न केला. मिरवणुकीवर दगडफेकही झाली. यावेळी मिरवणुकीतील अनेक कार्यकर्ते व काही पोलिस कर्मचारीही जखमी झाले.

    घटनच्यावेळी आपण व पोलिसांनी हस्तक्षेप करुन परिस्थिती हाताबाहेर जाऊ न दिल्याबद्दल आम्ही आभारी आहोत. परंतु भविष्यात आशाप्रकारची घटना घडू नये व सादर घटनेमध्ये सामील असणारे व त्यांनी प्रोत्साहित करणारे या सर्वांना आपण लवकरात लवकर संबंधितांवर गुन्हे दाखल करावेत व त्यांना अटक करावी, जेणे करुन भविष्यात घडणार्‍या समाज विघातक कृत्यांना आळा बसेल सामाजिक समतोल ढासळणार नाही.

    अन्यथा आम्हाला नाईलाजाने भाजपाच्यावतीने तीव्र स्वरुपाचे आंदोलन करावे लागेल, असा इशारा निवेदनाद्वारे दिला आहे.

    ശിവകാര്‍ത്തികേയന്‍, ഫഹദ് ഫാസില്‍, നയന്‍താര എന്നിവര്‍ ഒന്നിച്ച ''വേലയ്ക്കാരന്‍'' എന്ന സിനിമ കൈകാര്യം ചെയ്തത് വളരെ ഗൗരവമുള്ള ഒരു വിഷയമായിരുന്നു. ഒട്ടേറെ ആരോഗ്യ പ്രശ്നങ്ങള്‍ സൃഷ്ടിക്കുന്ന ജങ്ക് ഫുഡും ശീതളപാനിയങ്ങളും ഉപയോഗിക്കുന്നതിലെ അപകടമാണ് ചിത്രത്തില്‍ വ്യക്തമാക്കിയത്. വിഷയത്തിന്റെ പ്രാധാന്യമാണ്ഈ സിനിമ തിരഞ്ഞെടുക്കാന്‍ കാരണമായതെന്ന് ശിവകാര്‍ത്തികേയന്‍ പറയുന്നു.
    മകള്‍ക്ക് നാലര വയസ്സായി. അവളിന്നേ വരെ ഒരു ചെറിയ കഷ്ണം പിസ്സയോ ബര്‍ഗറോ അങ്ങനെയുള്ള മറ്റ് ഭക്ഷണ പദാര്‍ത്ഥങ്ങളോ കഴിച്ചിട്ടില്ല. സോഫ്റ്റ് ഡ്രിങ്ക്സ് കുടിച്ചിട്ടില്ല. ഞാന്‍ അത് അവള്‍ക്ക് നല്‍കിയിട്ടില്ല. അത് കൊണ്ടാണ് ഞാന്‍ പരസ്യങ്ങളില്‍ അഭിനയിക്കില്ലെന്ന് തീരുമാനിച്ചത്.
    സ്വന്തം മകള്‍ക്ക് വാങ്ങിനല്‍കാത്തവ പൊതുജനങ്ങളെക ാെണ്ട് വാങ്ങിപ്പിക്കാനൊരു പരസ്യത്തില്‍ അഭിനയിക്കുന്നത് ഉചിതമല്ലല്ലോ താരം പറയുന്നു
