जनपद बिजनौर की थाना धामपुर पुलिस को उस वक्त बड़ी कामयाबी मिली जब पुलिस ने एक अभियुक्त को करीब 05 लाख रूप्ये कीमत की अवैध स्मैक के साथ गिरफ्तार किया।
जनपद बिजनौर के पुलिस अधीक्षक डाॅ0 धर्मवीर सिंह के निर्देशानुसार अपराध और अपराधियों के विरूद्ध चलाये जा रहे अभियान के तहत धामपुर पुलिस ने मुखबिर की सूचना पर नगर के रामलीला ग्राउण्ड से चैकिंग के दौरान एक शातिर अपराधी को 50 ग्राम स्मैक के साथ गिरफ्तार किया। बताया जा रहा है कि स्मैक की अंतर्राष्ट्रीय कीमत करीब 5 लाख रूप्ये हैं। इस संबंध में थाना धामपुर में अभियुक्त के खिलाफ मुकदमा पंजीकृत कर कार्यवाही की जा रही है।
अभियुक्त द्वारा पूछताछ में बताया गया कि वह गैर जनपद से स्मैक लाकर जनपद में विक्रय करता है जिससे उसको काफी फायदा होता है।

हमीरपुर जिले में केंद्रीय वस्तु एवं सेवाकर (सीजीएसटी) विभाग की कानपुर से आई टीम ने मंगलवार को भरुआसुमेरपुर स्थित पुरानी गल्ला मंडी में इंडियन बैंक के पास गुटखा व्यवसायी के आवास पर छापा मारा। यहां करोड़ों की नकदी और सोना मिला है।
कुछ महत्वपूर्ण कागजात भी टीम ने जब्त किए हैं। व्यवसायी के यहां बड़ी गड़बड़ी की आशंका जताई जा रही है। सुबह करीब छह बजे से शुरू हुई कार्रवाई देर शाम तक जारी रही। कस्बे की पुरानी गल्ला मंडी में दयाल गुटखा के निर्माता जगत गुप्ता का आवास है।
यहां सीजीएसटी की पांच गाड़ियां पहुंचीं। काफी देर तक टीम आवास के बाहर ही खड़ी रही, लेकिन मुख्य गेट नहीं खोला गया। किसी तरह टीम गेट खुलवाकर भीतर दाखिल हुई और अपनी जांच-पड़ताल शुरू की। सूत्र बताते हैं कि टीम को आवास में करोड़ों रुपये की नकदी व भारी मात्रा में सोना भी मिला है।इसका लेखा-जोखा से मिलान कर रही है। अधिकारियों के मुताबिक अभी जांच चल रही है। पूरी होने के बाद ही कुछ बताया जा सकेगा। टीम में लगभग एक दर्जन अधिकारी शामिल हैं। उन्होंने पूरे आवास की सघन तलाशी लेकर तमाम दस्तावेज, बैंक खाते, लैपटॉप आदि कब्जे में लिए हैं।सुबह 6 बजे से शुरू हुई छापे की कार्रवाई के बाद रात आठ बजे के आसपास व्यवसायी के आवास पर एसबीआई से नोट गिनने की तीन मशीनें भी मंगाई गईं। मशीनों के आवास के बाहर पहुंचते ही मोहल्ले वालों में चर्चा हो गई कि बड़ी मात्रा में नकदी की बरामदगी हुई है। सूत्र बताते हैं कि दयाल गुटखा सिर्फ हमीरपुर ही नहीं बल्कि बांदा, फतेहपुर जनपदों में भी सप्लाई किया जाता है। ग्रामीण इलाकों में गुटखे की सर्वाधिक खपत है। व्यवसायी जगत गुप्ता काफी समय से गुटखा कारोबार में लिप्त हैं। माना जा रहा है कि गुटखे से ही व्यवसायी ने करोड़ों की संपत्ति बनाई है।

हमीरपुर जिले में केंद्रीय वस्तु एवं सेवाकर (सीजीएसटी) विभाग की कानपुर से आई टीम ने मंगलवार को भरुआसुमेरपुर स्थित पुरानी गल्ला मंडी में इंडियन बैंक के पास गुटखा व्यवसायी के आवास पर छापा मारा। यहां करोड़ों की नकदी और सोना मिला है।
कुछ महत्वपूर्ण कागजात भी टीम ने जब्त किए हैं। व्यवसायी के यहां बड़ी गड़बड़ी की आशंका जताई जा रही है। सुबह करीब छह बजे से शुरू हुई कार्रवाई देर शाम तक जारी रही। कस्बे की पुरानी गल्ला मंडी में दयाल गुटखा के निर्माता जगत गुप्ता का आवास है।
यहां सीजीएसटी की पांच गाड़ियां पहुंचीं। काफी देर तक टीम आवास के बाहर ही खड़ी रही, लेकिन मुख्य गेट नहीं खोला गया। किसी तरह टीम गेट खुलवाकर भीतर दाखिल हुई और अपनी जांच-पड़ताल शुरू की। सूत्र बताते हैं कि टीम को आवास में करोड़ों रुपये की नकदी व भारी मात्रा में सोना भी मिला है।इसका लेखा-जोखा से मिलान कर रही है। अधिकारियों के मुताबिक अभी जांच चल रही है। पूरी होने के बाद ही कुछ बताया जा सकेगा। टीम में लगभग एक दर्जन अधिकारी शामिल हैं। उन्होंने पूरे आवास की सघन तलाशी लेकर तमाम दस्तावेज, बैंक खाते, लैपटॉप आदि कब्जे में लिए हैं।सुबह 6 बजे से शुरू हुई छापे की कार्रवाई के बाद रात आठ बजे के आसपास व्यवसायी के आवास पर एसबीआई से नोट गिनने की तीन मशीनें भी मंगाई गईं। मशीनों के आवास के बाहर पहुंचते ही मोहल्ले वालों में चर्चा हो गई कि बड़ी मात्रा में नकदी की बरामदगी हुई है। सूत्र बताते हैं कि दयाल गुटखा सिर्फ हमीरपुर ही नहीं बल्कि बांदा, फतेहपुर जनपदों में भी सप्लाई किया जाता है। ग्रामीण इलाकों में गुटखे की सर्वाधिक खपत है। व्यवसायी जगत गुप्ता काफी समय से गुटखा कारोबार में लिप्त हैं। माना जा रहा है कि गुटखे से ही व्यवसायी ने करोड़ों की संपत्ति बनाई है।
