Jogindernagar (Mandi) : Local businessmen have come on the road due to a deep dispute with the officials of the Department of Weights and Measures. Traders say that even in this time of disaster, there is anger growing due to the efforts made by the Measurement and Weighing Department to harass small businessmen by deducting challans. These businessmen have demanded action against the concerned department from DC Mandi. Vyapar Mandal President Ajay Dharwal told that since two days the challans of the businessmen of the city are being cut by the department. Due to this, the traders also blocked the road today. A chakka jam was also organized by the businessman on this occasion.

Villagers warned of chakka jam if their taps gets dry
Kalkhar, a village of Gumhu Panchayat situated along the Kalkhar-Una Super Highway in Mandi district, is a unique village of Himachal, where to get water, one has to first file a complaint. After that the taps come for 4-5 days and then stop. After that one has to run again for complaint. On Thursday, the people of the Panchayat came together and took their problems to ADC Nivedita Negi. The villagers say that they are tired of complaining. If water is not available then we will block the road.

जनपद बिजनौर मे संयुक्त किसान मोर्चा के राष्ट्रीय आह्वान पर किसानों ने जगह-जगह चक्का जाम कर प्रदर्शन किया। मार्ग अवरूद्ध होने के कारण वाहनों की भी लंबी कतारें लग गई और काफी राहगीरों को परेशानी का सामना भी करना पड़ा।
दरअसल केन्द्र सरकार द्वारा लाये गये तीन कृषि कानूनों के विरोध में विभिन्न किसान संगठनों का प्रदर्शन चल रहा है। दिल्ली के गाज़ीपुर बाॅर्डर पर भी किसान सर्दी, गर्मी, बारिश और धूप झेलते हुए लगातार बैठे हैं। इतना समय बीत जाने के बाद भी इस समस्या का समाधान होता नही दिख रहा है। केन्द्र सरकार द्वारा लगातार कहा जा रहा है कि ये बिल किसानों के फायदे के लिए बनाये गये हैं इससे किसानों की आय बढ़ने सहित विभिन्न फायदे बताये जा रहे हैं। दूसरी तरफ किसान संगठनों के नेताओं का कहना है कि जब सरकार ने ये बिल किसानों के फायदे के लिए बनाया है और किसानों को ही ये बिल मंजूर नही तो सरकार को ये बिल वापस लेने चाहिए।
लंबे समय से चल रहे आंदोलन के बावजूद सरकार द्वारा कोई सुनवाई न होने पर किसान संगठनों द्वारा कभी चक्का जाम तो कभी महापंचायतों का आयोजन किया जाता है। इसी क्रम में संयुक्त किसान मोर्चा के राष्ट्रीय आह्वान पर 27 सितंबर को भारत बंद का आह्वान किया गया था। राष्ट्रीय आह्वान पर देशभर के साथ-साथ जनपद बिजनौर में भी भारतीय किसान यूनियन के पदाधिकारियों, सदस्यों तथा किसानों ने जगह-जगह चक्का जाम कर प्रदर्शन किया। जनपद बिजनौर में धामपुर, अफज़लगढ़, बिजनौर, नजीबाबाद, जलीलपुर, नूरपुर, किरतपुर, नहटौर, हल्दौर सहित जनपद के सभी स्थानों पर किसानों ने मुख्य मार्गों को ट्रैक्टर ट्राॅली आदि लगाकर अवरूद्ध कर दिया और बीच सड़क पर बैठकर प्रदर्शन करने लगे। कई जगह किसान संगठनों के इस प्रदर्शन को कुछ राजनीतिक दलों का समर्थन भी मिला। किसानों के चक्काजाम से जगह जगह वाहनों की लंबी कतारें भी देखने को मिली।
इस दौरान जब प्रदर्शन करने वाले किसानों से बात की गई तो उन्होंने कहा कि जब तक केन्द्र सरकार द्वारा अपनी जिद छोड़कर काले कानूनों को वापस नही लिया जाता उनका प्रदर्शन जारी रहेगा।
