Elli AvrRam has had an inspiring but a really tough journey in India. While we belong to a country that celebrates the phrase 'Atithi Devo Bhava', knowingly or unknowingly, we tend to corner and judge foreigners and single them out in a crowd. From mocking their accent to making fun of their culture or their Hindi, they go through a lot of bullying. Elli has also been through immense struggle - from batting social perception about being a gori to being considered easy and judged for what she wore or spoke, from fighting financial lows to moments of self doubt staying away from the family, the Malang actress has witnessed it all. In this no-holds barred interview, she discusses her entire journey and breaks down while reminiscing difficult times, but also raises a toast to the spirit that kept her going.
