    DB LIVE | 8 FEB 2017 | Up to 13000 secretly hanged in Syrian jail, says Amnesty

    एमनेस्टी इंटरनेशनल की रिपोर्ट ने चैकाने वाला खुलासा किया है। रिपोर्ट में दावा किया गया है कि पिछले पांच सालों में बड़े ही गुपचुप तरीके से सीरियाई राष्ट्रपति बशर-अल असद की सरकार में करीब 13 हजार लोगों को फांसी दी गई है।एमनेस्टी इंटरनेशनल रिपोर्ट की मानें तो दमिश्क के नज़दीक सीरिया सरकार की एक कुख्यात जेल में पिछले पांच सालों में करीब 13,000 लोगों को फांसी दी गई है। रिपोर्ट ने दावा किया है कि इन कैदियों को पहले 10 से 15 मिनट तक फांसी के फंदे पर लटकाया जाता है फिर डाक्टरों और अधिकारियों की मौजूदगी में उन्हें तड़पता हुआ उतारकर सभी की गर्दन तोड़ दी जाती है। जिसके बाद शवों को गोपनीय तरीके से दफना दिया जाता था और उनके परिवार वालों को भी कोई सूचना नहीं दी जाती थी। इसके साथ ही रिपोर्ट में बताया गया है कि वकील और ट्रायल के बगैर केवल यातना देकर अपराध कबूल कराया जाता है और अपराधियों को फांसी की सजा दे दी जाती है।
