ചൂടേറിയ വര്‍ഷങ്ങളില്‍ 2018 നാലാമത്
ആഗോള താപനില രേഖപ്പെടുത്താന്‍ തുടങ്ങിയതിന് ശേഷം ഭൂമി ഏറ്റവും കൂടുതല്‍ ചൂടറിഞ്ഞ വര്‍ഷങ്ങളുടെ പട്ടികയില്‍ 2018 നാലാം സ്ഥാനത്ത്
നാസയും നാഷണല്‍ ഓഷ്യാനിക് ആന്റ് അറ്റ്‌മോസ്‌ഫെറിക് അഡ്മിനിസ്‌ട്രേഷനും ( എന്‍.ഓ.എ.എ.) പുറത്തുവിട്ട റിപ്പോര്‍ട്ടുകളിലാണ് ഈ വിവരമുള്ളത്. 1951 നും 1980 നും ഇടയില്‍ ഉള്ളതിനേക്കാള്‍ .83 ഡിഗ്രി സെല്‍ഷ്യസ് കൂടുതല്‍ താപനിലയാണ് 2018 ല്‍ ഉണ്ടായതെന്ന് നാസയുടെ ഗോഡാര്‍ഡ് ഇന്‍സ്റ്റിറ്റ്യൂട്ട് ഫോര്‍ സ്‌പേയ്‌സ് സ്റ്റഡീസ് (ജി.ഐ.എസ്.എസ്.) പറഞ്ഞു. 20 ാം നൂറ്റാണ്ടിലെ ശരാശരി താപനിലയേക്കാള്‍ .79 ഡിഗ്രീ സെല്‍ഷ്യസ് താപനിലവര്‍ധനവാണ് കഴിഞ്ഞവര്‍ഷം ഉണ്ടായതെന്ന് എന്‍.ഓ.എ.എ. പറഞ്ഞു. 2016, 2017, 2015 വര്‍ഷങ്ങള്‍ക്ക് പിറകിലാണ് 2018 ഉം ഇടംപിടിച്ചിരിക്കുന്നത്.
അതായത് പുതിയ കണക്കുകള്‍ പ്രകാരം കഴിഞ്ഞ നാല് വര്‍ഷങ്ങള്‍ ലോകം നല്ലപോലെ ചൂടനുഭവിച്ച വര്‍ഷങ്ങളാണ്.
മനുഷ്യന്റെ വിവിധ പ്രവര്‍ത്തികള്‍ മൂലം കാര്‍ബണ്‍ ഡൈ ഓക്‌സൈഡ് പുറത്തുവിടുന്നതിന്റെ വര്‍ധനവും മറ്റ് ഹരിതഗൃഹവാതകങ്ങളുമാണ് ഈ താപനില വര്‍ധനവിന് കാരണമായതെന്ന് ഗവേഷകര്‍ പറയുന്നു. അതേസമയം പ്രാദേശിക താപനിലകളില്‍ വ്യത്യാസമുണ്ടാവുന്നുണ്ട്. ഭൂമിയിലെ എല്ലാ പ്രദേശങ്ങളിലും ഈ കൂടിയ താപനില അനുഭവപ്പെട്ടില്ല. താപനില വര്‍ധനവ് ഏറ്റവും കൂടുതല്‍ ബാധിച്ചിട്ടുള്ളത് ആര്‍ട്ടിക് മേഖലയിലാണ്. വന്‍ തോതിലുള്ള മഞ്ഞുരുകല്‍ 2018 ലും ഇവിടെ സംഭവിച്ചിട്ടുണ്ട്. ഗ്രീന്‍ലാന്‍ഡിലെയും അന്റാര്‍ട്ടിക് മേഖലയിലേയും മഞ്ഞുപാളികള്‍ വന്‍തോതില്‍ നഷ്ടപ്പെട്ടിട്ടുണ്ട്. അത് സമുദ്രനിരപ്പ് ഉയരുന്നതിനും കാരണമാകുന്നു. താപനില വര്‍ധനവ് കാട്ടുതീകള്‍ വ്യാപകമാവുന്നതിലും പ്രകൃതിക്ഷോഭങ്ങള്‍ക്കും കാരണമായിമാറുകയും ചെയ്യുന്നു.
ആഗോള താപനത്തിന്റെ പ്രത്യാഘാതങ്ങള്‍ ഇതിനോടകം അനുഭവപ്പെട്ടുകൊണ്ടിരിക്കുകയാണ്.
കടല്‍ കയറ്റവും ഉഷ്ണതരംഗവും ജൈവവ്യവസ്ഥിലുള്ള മാറ്റവും ഇതിന്റെ ഭാഗമാണ്. 6,300 ഓളം കാലാവസ്ഥാ കേന്ദ്രങ്ങളില്‍ നിന്നും സമുദ്രങ്ങളില്‍ സ്ഥാപിച്ചിട്ടുള്ള നിരീക്ഷണ സംവിധാനങ്ങളില്‍ നിന്നും അന്റാര്‍ട്ടിക് മേഖലയിലുള്ള ഗവേഷണ കേന്ദ്രങ്ങളില്‍ നിന്നുമുള്ള താപനില കണക്കുകളാണ് താപനില വിശകലനത്തിനായി നാസ ഉപയോഗിച്ചത്. 1951 മുതല്‍ 1980 വരെയുള്ള കാലയളവിനെ അടിസ്ഥാനമാക്കിയാണ് നാസ ആഗോള ശരാശരി താപനില വ്യതിയാനം കണക്കാക്കുന്നത്. അതേസമയം കാലാവസ്ഥാ കേന്ദ്രങ്ങളുBy News60 ML| 38 views
