പുതിയ പാലം നിര്‍മിക്കുന്നതിനായി മണ്ണ് പരിശോധനയടക്കം തുടങ്ങി. പാലത്തിന്‍റെ മധ്യഭാഗം പൂര്‍ണമായും ഉയര്‍ത്തി കപ്പലുകള്‍ക്ക് കടന്നുപോകുന്നതിനുള്ള രീതിയിലാണ് പാലത്തിന്‍റെ പണി. ഇതിന്‍റെ മാതൃക കേന്ദ്രമന്ത്രി പീയുഷ് ഗോയല്‍ തന്‍റെ ട്വിറ്റര്‍ അക്കൗണ്ടില്‍ പങ്കുവച്ചു. രാജ്യത്ത് ആദ്യമായാണ് ഇത്തരത്തില്‍ പാലത്തിന്‍റെ മധ്യഭാഗം ഉയര്‍ത്താന്‍ പറ്റുന്ന രീതിയിലുള്ള നിര്‍മാണം.
പാലത്തിന്‍റെ നിര്‍മാണത്തിന് മുന്നോടിയായി മണ്ണ് പരിശോധനകള്‍ തുടങ്ങി. ഇരുന്നൂറ്റി അന്‍പത് കോടി ചെലവില്‍ നാല് വര്‍ഷത്തിനുള്ളില്‍ പദ്ധതി പൂര്‍ത്തിയാക്കും. നേരത്തെ പ്രകൃതി ദുരന്തത്തെ തുടര്‍ന്ന് പാലത്തിന്‍റെ ഒരു ഭാഗം പൂര്‍ണമായും തകര്‍ന്നിരുന്നു. ഇ.ശ്രീധരന്‍റെ നേതൃത്വത്തിലുള്ള സംഘമാണ് അന്നത് പുതുക്കിപ്പണിതത്.
രാമേശ്വരത്ത് നിന്ന് ധനുഷ്കോടിയിലേക്ക് പുതിയ റെയില്‍ പാതയും നിര്‍മിക്കുന്നുണ്ട്.
നൂറ്റിനാല് വര്‍ഷത്തെ പഴക്കമുള്ള പാമ്പന്‍ പാലത്തിന്. ചരക്കുനീക്കത്തിനായി ചെറു കപ്പലുകള്‍ക്ക് കടന്നുപോകാന്‍ മധ്യഭാഗത്ത് നിന്ന് ഇരുവശങ്ങളിലേക്ക് ഉയര്‍ത്തുകയും പിന്നീട് ട്രെയിന്‍ പോകുന്നതിനായി സാധാരണ നിലയിലാക്കുകയും ചെയ്യുന്ന പാമ്പന്‍ പാലം എക്കാലവും കാഴ്ചക്കാര്‍ക്ക് കൗതുകമാണ്. രാജ്യത്തെ എന്‍ജിനീയറിങ് വിസ്മയങ്ങളിലൊന്നായാണ് അറിയപ്പെടുന്നത്.
കപ്പലുകള്‍ക്ക് കടന്നുപോകാന്‍ പാലത്തിന്‍റെ മധ്യഭാഗം അപ്പാടെ ഉയര്‍ത്തുന്ന ഓട്ടോമാറ്റിക് ലിഫ്റ്റിങ് സാങ്കേതികവിദ്യയാണ് ഉപയോഗിക്കുന്നത്. സ്റ്റെയിന്‍ ലെസ് സ്റ്റീല്‍ ഭാഗങ്ങള്‍ ഉപയോഗിക്കുന്ന ആദ്യത്തെ റെയില്‍വേ പാലം ആയിരിക്കും ഇത്. റെയില്‍ വികാസ് നിഗം ലിമിറ്റ‍ഡ് ആണ് പാലം പണിക്ക് നേതൃത്വം നല്‍കുക.

രാമേശ്വരത്തെ ധനുഷ്കോടിയുമായി ബന്ധിപ്പിക്കുന്ന പാമ്പന്‍ റെയില്‍വേ പാലം പുതുക്കി പണിയുന്നു.
പുതിയ പാലം നിര്‍മിക്കുന്നതിനായി മണ്ണ് പരിശോധനയടക്കം തുടങ്ങി. പാലത്തിന്‍റെ മധ്യഭാഗം പൂര്‍ണമായും ഉയര്‍ത്തി കപ്പലുകള്‍ക്ക് കടന്നുപോകുന്നതിനുള്ള രീതിയിലാണ് പാലത്തിന്‍റെ പണി. ഇതിന്‍റെ മാതൃക കേന്ദ്രമന്ത്രി പീയുഷ് ഗോയല്‍ തന്‍റെ ട്വിറ്റര്‍ അക്കൗണ്ടില്‍ പങ്കുവച്ചു. രാജ്യത്ത് ആദ്യമായാണ് ഇത്തരത്തില്‍ പാലത്തിന്‍റെ മധ്യഭാഗം ഉയര്‍ത്താന്‍ പറ്റുന്ന രീതിയിലുള്ള നിര്‍മാണം.
പാലത്തിന്‍റെ നിര്‍മാണത്തിന് മുന്നോടിയായി മണ്ണ് പരിശോധനകള്‍ തുടങ്ങി. ഇരുന്നൂറ്റി അന്‍പത് കോടി ചെലവില്‍ നാല് വര്‍ഷത്തിനുള്ളില്‍ പദ്ധതി പൂര്‍ത്തിയാക്കും. നേരത്തെ പ്രകൃതി ദുരന്തത്തെ തുടര്‍ന്ന് പാലത്തിന്‍റെ ഒരു ഭാഗം പൂര്‍ണമായും തകര്‍ന്നിരുന്നു. ഇ.ശ്രീധരന്‍റെ നേതൃത്വത്തിലുള്ള സംഘമാണ് അന്നത് പുതുക്കിപ്പണിതത്.
രാമേശ്വരത്ത് നിന്ന് ധനുഷ്കോടിയിലേക്ക് പുതിയ റെയില്‍ പാതയും നിര്‍മിക്കുന്നുണ്ട്.
നൂറ്റിനാല് വര്‍ഷത്തെ പഴക്കമുള്ള പാമ്പന്‍ പാലത്തിന്. ചരക്കുനീക്കത്തിനായി ചെറു കപ്പലുകള്‍ക്ക് കടന്നുപോകാന്‍ മധ്യഭാഗത്ത് നിന്ന് ഇരുവശങ്ങളിലേക്ക് ഉയര്‍ത്തുകയും പിന്നീട് ട്രെയിന്‍ പോകുന്നതിനായി സാധാരണ നിലയിലാക്കുകയും ചെയ്യുന്ന പാമ്പന്‍ പാലം എക്കാലവും കാഴ്ചക്കാര്‍ക്ക് കൗതുകമാണ്. രാജ്യത്തെ എന്‍ജിനീയറിങ് വിസ്മയങ്ങളിലൊന്നായാണ് അറിയപ്പെടുന്നത്.
കപ്പലുകള്‍ക്ക് കടന്നുപോകാന്‍ പാലത്തിന്‍റെ മധ്യഭാഗം അപ്പാടെ ഉയര്‍ത്തുന്ന ഓട്ടോമാറ്റിക് ലിഫ്റ്റിങ് സാങ്കേതികവിദ്യയാണ് ഉപയോഗിക്കുന്നത്. സ്റ്റെയിന്‍ ലെസ് സ്റ്റീല്‍ ഭാഗങ്ങള്‍ ഉപയോഗിക്കുന്ന ആദ്യത്തെ റെയില്‍വേ പാലം ആയിരിക്കും ഇത്. റെയില്‍ വികാസ് നിഗം ലിമിറ്റ‍ഡ് ആണ് പാലം പണിക്ക് നേതൃത്വം നല്‍കുക.
