09 दिसंबर को राष्ट्रीय राजधानी में मीडिया से बात करते हुए, केंद्रीय कानून और न्याय मंत्री और भारतीय जनता पार्टी के नेता रविशंकर प्रसाद ने नागरिकता संशोधन विधेयक पर कहा, ये बहुत ही गैरजिम्मेदारना है, ये संसद का अपमान हैं अपनी बात आप कह सकते हैं लेकिन एक बिल जो संसद में चर्चा हो रही उसको आप फाड़ देगें ये बिल्कुल गलत हम इसका विरोध करेंगे

Speaking to the media in the national capital on December 09, Union Minister of Law and Justice and Bharatiya Janata Party leader Ravi Shankar Prasad said on the Citizenship Amendment Bill, it is very irresponsible, it is an insult to the Parliament to say its own thing but You will tear a bill which is being discussed in Parliament, it is absolutely wrong, we will oppose it.
