    आजमगढ़ के मड़या स्थित बीजेपी के नेता राकेश सिंह के आवास पर प्रेसवार्ता में प्रदेश के परिवहन मंत्री दयाशंकर सिंह ने कहा कि नगर निकाय चुनाव में टिकट वितरण का आधार जीत का ही होगा। सभी कार्यकर्ताओं को जो पार्टी से जुड़े हैं उनको टिकट मांगने का अधिकार है। पार्टी लोकतांत्रिक है लेकिन उन कार्यकर्ताओं में से जो सबसे ज्यादा जीत का दावा रखता है उसको ही टिकट दिया जाएगा। पार्टी में कोई एक आदमी न टिकट ता है ना टिकट देता है। यहां सामूहिक रूप से निर्णय लिया जाता है। इसलिए जो भी पार्टी का प्रत्याशी होगा पूरी पार्टी उसके पीछे खड़ी रहेगी। कहीं से कोई गुटबाजी या बागी होने की बात नहीं है। वहीं उन्होंने कांग्रेस पार्टी के महासचिव राहुल गांधी की भारत जोड़ो यात्रा पर प्रश्नचिन्ह खड़ा किया। उन्होंने कहा कि आजादी के बाद से ज्यादातर समय उनके पार्टी की और उनके परिवार की सरकार रही है। इस दौरान लोगों के बीच ज्यादा अलगाव हुआ है। इसीलिए वह उसको जोड़ने के लिए भारत जोड़ो यात्रा कर रहे हैं। जहां तक उत्तर प्रदेश की बात है कांग्रेस का यहां पर अस्तित्व खत्म हो चुका है। उनसे ज्यादा प्रभावशाली ओम प्रकाश राजभर हैं। वहीं आजमगढ़ में किसानों के द्वारा मंदुरी एयरपोर्ट के विस्तारीकरण के विरोध में पिछले 2 महीने से चल रहे आंदोलन पर उन्होंने कहा कि ज्यादातर किसान इसके समर्थन में है कुछ तथाकथित लोग ही विरोध कर रहे हैं। यहां के लोगों को समझना चाहिए कि जब बड़े बोइंग उतरेंगे तो उसके लिए बड़ी जगह की जरूरत होगी। आजमगढ़ बहुत ज्यादा लोग खाड़ी देशों में रहते हैं इसलिए उनकी सुविधा के लिए ही यह बनाया जा रहा है। सरकार स्थानीय रेट से 4 गुना ज्यादा रेट दे रही है। इसलिए किसान खुद आगे आ रहे हैं अपनी जमीन देने के लिए। वहीं उन्होंने परिवहन विभाग में कबाड़ा या खस्ताहाल बसों के कुछ दिनों बाद नई बसों से बदले जाने की बात कही। कहा कि मुख्यमंत्री ने इसके लिए काफी बजट दिया है जल्द ही ग्यारह सौ बसें यूपी रोडवेज के बेड़े में शामिल हों

    आजमगढ़ के मड़या स्थित बीजेपी के नेता राकेश सिंह के आवास पर प्रेसवार्ता में प्रदेश के परिवहन मंत्री दयाशंकर सिंह ने कहा कि नगर निकाय चुनाव में टिकट वितरण का आधार जीत का ही होगा। सभी कार्यकर्ताओं को जो पार्टी से जुड़े हैं उनको टिकट मांगने का अधिकार है। पार्टी लोकतांत्रिक है लेकिन उन कार्यकर्ताओं में से जो सबसे ज्यादा जीत का दावा रखता है उसको ही टिकट दिया जाएगा। पार्टी में कोई एक आदमी न टिकट ता है ना टिकट देता है। यहां सामूहिक रूप से निर्णय लिया जाता है। इसलिए जो भी पार्टी का प्रत्याशी होगा पूरी पार्टी उसके पीछे खड़ी रहेगी। कहीं से कोई गुटबाजी या बागी होने की बात नहीं है। वहीं उन्होंने कांग्रेस पार्टी के महासचिव राहुल गांधी की भारत जोड़ो यात्रा पर प्रश्नचिन्ह खड़ा किया। उन्होंने कहा कि आजादी के बाद से ज्यादातर समय उनके पार्टी की और उनके परिवार की सरकार रही है। इस दौरान लोगों के बीच ज्यादा अलगाव हुआ है। इसीलिए वह उसको जोड़ने के लिए भारत जोड़ो यात्रा कर रहे हैं। जहां तक उत्तर प्रदेश की बात है कांग्रेस का यहां पर अस्तित्व खत्म हो चुका है। उनसे ज्यादा प्रभावशाली ओम प्रकाश राजभर हैं। वहीं आजमगढ़ में किसानों के द्वारा मंदुरी एयरपोर्ट के विस्तारीकरण के विरोध में पिछले 2 महीने से चल रहे आंदोलन पर उन्होंने कहा कि ज्यादातर किसान इसके समर्थन में है कुछ तथाकथित लोग ही विरोध कर रहे हैं। यहां के लोगों को समझना चाहिए कि जब बड़े बोइंग उतरेंगे तो उसके लिए बड़ी जगह की जरूरत होगी। आजमगढ़ बहुत ज्यादा लोग खाड़ी देशों में रहते हैं इसलिए उनकी सुविधा के लिए ही यह बनाया जा रहा है। सरकार स्थानीय रेट से 4 गुना ज्यादा रेट दे रही है। इसलिए किसान खुद आगे आ रहे हैं अपनी जमीन देने के लिए। वहीं उन्होंने परिवहन विभाग में कबाड़ा या खस्ताहाल बसों के कुछ दिनों बाद नई बसों से बदले जाने की बात कही। कहा कि मुख्यमंत्री ने इसके लिए काफी बजट दिया है जल्द ही ग्यारह सौ बसें यूपी रोडवेज के बेड़े में शामिल हों
