Justin Bieber finally found a home to call his own.
His real estate journey had a few false starts.
The Biebs looked at a Hollywood Hills home that Ashton Kutcher was renting - but the actor ended up buying it for himself. Then he had appraisal issues with a 9,000-square-foot mansion in Calabasas, about 20 miles outside of Los Angeles.
But those issues have been cleared up, as TMZ.com reports he just purchased the Calabasas home for $6 million, negotiating down from the asking price of $7.5 million.
Mary Sue Maurer, the mayor of Calabasas, is excited the pop star is moving in, telling TMZ, "Justin is welcomed to Calabasas, and his privacy will be respected, just like everyone else's."
One thing that will help: the property is in a community protected by two gates.
The home, which Curbed reports was once owned by Eddie Murphy's ex-wife, Nicole Murphy, is situated on 1.28-acre grounds. The Spanish-style home boasts six bedrooms, seven bathrooms, six fireplaces, two garages and an elevator. Outside, there's a pool, a spa and a guesthouse.By ajay kumar| 703 views

A rash of moderate quakes shook the south end of the Salton Sea Sunday, and the largest quakes were felt from Orange County and San Diego east into Arizona.
"What we're seeing is a classic Brawley seismic swarm," USGS seismologist Lucy Jones told City News Service. "We haven't seen one of these since the 1970s, and there was another one back in the 1930s."
Some buildings were evacuated in Brawley, a small farm town 115 miles east-northeast of San Diego. "It's pretty bad, we had to evacuate the hotel just for safety," said Rowena Rapoza, office manager at the Best Western Hotel there.
Jones said USGS seismographs and analysis computers were overwhelmed by the rash of rattling that began at sunrise, and reached a crescendo with a magnitude 5.3 quake just after 12:30 p.m. It was followed by a 4.9 shaker within two minutes.
"Our system is choking on so many earthquakes," Jones said. "This area of California is deep soils, and we do not get as precise data as we do over the rest of the state, and that makes our data a little less precise."
Preliminary computerized USGS reports had indicated that three quakes larger than magnitude 5.3 had rattled out from Brawley at 12:30. That was later resolved by seismologists to be two quakes, magnitude 5.3 and 4.9, Jones told CNS.

The USGS's monitoring system places the epicenter of the earthquakes in the desert near Anza, about 100 miles southeast of Los Angeles.
One quake struck at 9:55 a.m. Monday and was initially estimated at magnitude 5.1 but that was quickly downgraded to 4.7. The other two were magnitude 4.6 and 3.0, according to the USGS.
The earthquakes were felt sharply in the local area and also rolled through downtown Los Angeles, San Diego and in Orange County. There are no immediate reports of damage in the region.
Susie Bride, a cashier at Cahuilla Mountain Market and Cafe in Anza, said the quake seemed to last awhile but didn't do any damage to the business.
"It kind of shook and then I thought, `God, is that an earthquake?' It kind of shook and then it rolled a little bit and then it shook again," she said.
About 25 miles north of Anza, Palms Springs police Sgt. Harvey Reed said his department received no reports of damage or injuries. There were no other immediate reports of damage in the region.
Earthquakes of such magnitude are unlikely to do much harm in regions with modern building standards.

The temblor, which occurred at a depth of eight miles, caused a swaying or rolling motion in Los Angeles and San Diego as well as in Orange and San Bernardino counties. It was sandwiched between several foreshocks and aftershocks.
