VIRAL : BSF Soldier shows the kind of food jawans have to eat on duty

A video of a BSF soldier complaining about the kind of food served to the army has surfaced online. Tej Bahadur Yadav of the 29 BN BSF battalion has uploaded videos showing the food served to soldiers in extreme conditions. Soldiers are served plain rotis and tea for breakfast, plain dal and curry for lunch, and they sometimes have to sleep on empty stomach.

Yadav didn't blame the government but the authorities for the plight of the soldiers. He said that the supplies come in but they are sold of to the market, and the soldiers have to make do with inferior quality of food. He wanted the media intervene and investigate the matter so their plight could be seen and heard.
