Addressing the event, the Congress vice president urged the people of Amethi to welcome the UP's first CRPF Recruit Training Centre. "Amethi is your home as well as mine. These CRPF Jawans are my guests as well as yours. So we must extend a warm welcome and affection to them and we should work in tandem with them for the benefit of our country" urged Rahul Gandhi. "Hindustan is a concept as well as a country. The people, the officers and the ministers frame this concept and the idea is to take everyone along in the process of development. So let us strengthen this concept" added the Congress Member of Parliament from Amethi.
