There is an urgent need for secure networking that converges security and networking. With the proliferation of connected devices and the increasing complexity of networks, it has become increasingly difficult to secure networks and ensure that they remain protected against threats.
As per Gartner, #HybridMeshFirewall platforms enable security policy controls to be defined and enforced between workloads, and between users and workloads connected on any network in an on-premises first organization. The survey anticipates that by 2026, more than 60% of organizations will have more than one type of firewall deployment, which will prompt adoption of hybrid mesh firewalls.
Converging security and networking can help address this challenge by creating a unified approach that integrates security into the network itself. This can help to reduce the attack surface of the network, making it more difficult for attackers to exploit vulnerabilities.

Ransomware breach
As we continue to accelerate towards an increasingly digitized world, the barracuda expert observes that the dominant targets are still five key industries: education, municipalities, healthcare, infrastructure and finance. Researchers also saw a spike in the number of service providers that have been hit with a #ransomware attack.
Ransomware attackers remain defiant and continue to operate their business with extended extortion attempts. As ransomware and other #cyberthreats continue to evolve, the need for adequate security solutions has never been greater.
As per the company source, while attacks on municipalities increased only slightly, the analysis showed that ransomware attacks on educational institutions more than doubled, and attacks on the healthcare and financial verticals tripled.
Many cybercriminals target small businesses to gain access to larger organisations. As a result, it is essential for security providers to create products that are easy to use and implement, regardless of a company’s size, said the report.
Most ransomware attacks don’t make headlines, though. Many victims choose not to disclose when they get hit, and the attacks are often sophisticated and extremely hard to handle for small businesses.

Additionally, 60% of surveyed Indian users who never worked in Web3 are very interested in exploring the career, mainly motivated by space for professional growth and a better salary package in the industry.
The report flagged the shortage of women-led communities, educational resources, and the stress of fast-paced industry as key challenges for Indian women to work or invest in Web3. As per the survey findings, Indian youth have huge potential in disrupting the Web3 space.
However, it has been noticed that there are fewer women-led Web3 communities as compared to male. The survey also shows that many women are hesitant to engage in Web3 due to perceived limited access to related educational resources and potential stress from the fast-paced industry.

Increased digitization in healthcare is a contributor to the industry’s enlarged attack surface. A hospital room is equipped with an average of 15-20 devices connected to the internet in today's world of healthcare. The proliferation of medical and internet-connected devices in healthcare brings both clinical benefits and security risks. Indeed, the increasing use of medical IoT devices makes healthcare organizations more vulnerable to DDoS attacks; attackers use infected IoT devices in botnets to launch coordinated attacks. Since healthcare IT systems contain sensitive patient data, the sector has long been a target for hackers. She expressed her disappointment towards people who didn’t criticise the film but its intent. The actress discussed the prevalent gender bias and how people never took offence when she was a part of such stories told from a male perspective. She pointed out how Pankaj Tripathi and Akshay Kumar starrer OMG 2 was supported by the same people who shamed her film, when somewhere they dealt with the same subject. Bhumi revealed if not getting any support from women within the industry disappointed her.
