भारतीय मतदाता संगठन में बड़े क़द और काबीलियत के लोग शामिल हैं....जैसे कि वरिष्ठ पत्रकार, डॉक्टर्स, बड़े व्यापारी, और academicians...ये एक ऐसा संगठन है जो देश में चुनाव सुधार और लोकतान्त्रिक मूल्यों की रक्षा के लिए काम कर रहा है....इसका मकसद है लोकतंत्र को मज़बूत करना, और लोकतंत्र की मजबूती के लिए ज़रूरी है कि आप और हम...सभी अपने मत का प्रयोग करें....यानी कि मतदान करें....हम में से ऐसे बहुत से लोग हैं जो बदलाव तो चाहते हैं लेकिन वोट देने नहीं जाते....लेकिन जब तक हम वोट ही नहीं देंगे....तो हम अच्छी या बुरी सत्ता की उम्मीद कैसे कर सकते हैं.By Delhi Darpan TV| 227 views

भारतीय मतदाता संगठन से जुड़े "मतदाता मित्र" का यह पहला दस्ता है जिसे भारत के पूर्व चुनाव आयुक्त डॉ एस. वाई. कुरैशी संकल्प दिला रहे है| मौक़ा है भारतीय मतदाता संगठन द्वारा आयोजित " मतदाता ही भारत का भविष्य " विषय पर आयोजित संगोष्टी कार्यक्रम का| पिछले दो सालों में चुनाव सुधार मुहीम को आगे बढ़ा रहे भारतीय मतदाता संगठन की मकर सक्रांति पर शुरू हुयी यह बदलाव की एक मुहीम है जिसे देशभर में ऐसे "मतदाता मित्र" चलाएंगे|
राजनैतिक पक्षपात से अलग हटकर अपने अपने इलाकों में ये मतदाता मित्र लोगों को ज्यादा से ज्यादा मतदान करने के लिए ही प्रेरित नहीं करेंगे बल्कि सही उम्मीदावर और योग्य उम्मीवार का चयन करने की भी अपील करेंगे| नयी दिल्ली के कॉन्स्टिच्यूट क्लब में आयोजीत इस संगोष्टी में बड़ी संख्या में पत्रकार , बुद्धिजीवी , वकील , और अलग अलग अलग एनजीओ से जुड़े लोग बड़ी संख्या में मौजूद थे| इस मौके पर डॉ एस. वाई. कुरैशी ने चुनाव सुधार से लेकर चुनाव आयोग और भारत के लोकतंत्र की खासियत और खामियों को सामने रखा|
इस संगोष्टी में चुनाव सुधार व लोकतांत्रिक विकास के लिए किये गए कार्यों के लिए जगदीप छोकर को भारतीय मतदाता मित्र सम्मान दिया गया ( विसुअल लगाएं )| श्री एस.वाई. कुरैशी और श्री जगदीप छोकर ने इस विषय पर अपने विचार और अनुभव सांझा किये| दोनों के संबोधन का सार यही था की ज्यादातर राजनैतिक दलों को चुनाव सुधार की कोइ परवाह नहीं है| जिन दलों के पास चुनाव सुधार की जिम्मेदारी है वे ही कानून बदलने और बनाने की बजाये टाल मटोल कर रहे है| अबतक जो भी चुनाव सुधार की दिशा कुछ कदम आगे बढे है तो वह कोर्ट के ही निर्देश पर हुयें है|By Delhi Darpan TV| 985 views
