यात्रा के मुख्य उद्देश
१- युवाओं में श्रीराम जी के चरित्र का निर्माण व संस्कारों को बढ़ावा देना।
२- समाज के अंदर के रावणों का अंत करना।
३- परिवारों में प्रबोधन से एकता व आत्मीयता का निर्माण करना।
४- राष्ट्र-धर्म भक्ति को बढ़ावा देना।
५- वनवास के समय श्री राम जी को सहयोग करने वाले वनवासियों का धन्यवाद करना।(क्योंकी प्रभु श्रीराम जी रावन से युद्ध जीतने के बाद अयोध्या पुष्पक विमान से गए थे इसलिए वनवासियों को मिल नहीं पाए थे)
इस यात्रा का प्रसारण सुदर्शन न्यूज़ चैनल सहित कई न्यूज़ चैनलों, प्रादेशिक व धार्मिक चैनलों के साथ ही सभी सोशल मीडिया पर भी किया जायेगा। जाने माने यूट्यूबर भी यात्रा में सहभागी हो कर इसे करोड़ों लोगों तक पहुँचायेंगे।
यह यात्रा १५ दिसंबर को श्री लंका के अशोक वाटिका से प्रारंभ होगी। १७ दिसंबर को रामेश्वरम से गाड़ियों के साथ आगे बढ़ेगी। श्रीराम जी, सीता माता जी व लक्ष्मण जी वनवास में जिस वर पथ से गये थे उस पथ से १९ जनवरी को अयोध्या में पहुँचेगी, जहां 24 जनवरी तक वन गमन के तीर्थों की भव्य प्रदर्शनी लगाई जायेगी।

डिब्रूगढ़ (असम): भारतीय सेना के ऑपरेशन 'सद्भावना' के तहत युवाओं का एक प्रतिनिधिमंडल 04 सितंबर को डिब्रूगढ़ से 10 दिवसीय राष्ट्रीय एकता यात्रा पर निकला। प्रतिनिधिमंडल में असम के उत्तरी जिलों से 20 सदस्य शामिल थे। 10 दिवसीय राष्ट्रीय एकता यात्रा 03 सितंबर को डिब्रूगढ़ से शुरू हुई थी और 13 सितंबर को कोलकाता में समाप्त होगी। सेना के आधिकारिक राष्ट्रीय एकता के अनुसार, यात्रा का उद्देश्य युवाओं में विभिन्न संस्कृतियों के बारे में जागरूकता पैदा करना है। इससे उन्हें सर्वोत्तम प्रथाओं को अपनाने में मदद मिलेगी।'

जम्मू-कश्मीर में भाजपा का सदस्यता अभियान श्यामा प्रसाद मुखर्जी की जयंती के अवसर पर शुरू हो गया। । इस बार भाजपा के केंद्रीय नेतृत्व ने सदस्यता अभियान में 17 लाख सदस्य बनाने का लक्ष्य प्रदेश भाजपा को दिया है। वर्तमान में भाजपा के राज्य में करीब पांच लाख सदस्य हैं , 12 लाख नए सदस्य बनाना प्रदेश भाजपा के लिए चुनौती से कम नहीं है। हालांकि पार्टी नेता विश्वास जता रहे हैं कि केंद्रीय नेतृत्व से मिले लक्ष्य को पूरा कर लिया जाएगा। भाजपा के कार्यकर्ता कहता हैं कि सदस्यता अभियान के लक्ष्य को पूरा करने के लिए विभिन्न कमेटियों का गठन कर लिया गया है और वही राजौरी जिले को इस बार एक लाख सदस्य बनाने का लक्ष्य मिला है।

श्रीनगर के पन्था चौक पर गवर्नर सत्यपाल मलिक ने यात्रा भवन का दौरा किया। इस दौरान गवर्नर श्रद्धालुओं से मिले और उनको आ रही परेशानियों के बारे में जाना। इस दौरान मलिक ने सुरक्षा व्यवस्था का भी जायजा लिया। पत्रकारों से बातचीत के दौरान गवर्नर मलिक ने कहा कि अमरनाथ यात्रा के बंदोबस्त से लोग खुश है और उन्हें कोई भी परेशानी नहीं आने दी जाएगी। वहीं मलिक ने जम्मू-श्रीनगर नेशनल हाईवे बंद को लेकर ब्यान दिया है। उन्होंने कहा कि लोगों को सबर से काम लेना चाहिए, 2 घंटे नेशनल हाईवे बंद होने से किसी को कोई फर्क नहीं पड़ना चाहिए, ये लोगों की सहूलियत के लिए किया गया है।

श्रीनगर पुलिस ने घरों में चोरी करने वाले शातिर चोर को पकड़ने में सफलता हासिल की है। इस आरोपी से पुलिस ने 19 लाख का गोल्ड और 14 लाख रुपए बरामद कर लिए हैं। इस आरोपी पर कई थानों में चोरी के मामले भी दर्ज है। एसएसपी की माने कि ये चोर रेकी के बाद शादी वाले घर में चोरी की घटना को अंजाम देता था। पुलिस ने आरोपी के खिलाफ मामला दर्ज कर आगामी कार्रवाई शुरू कर दी है।
