Gangotri Dham Portals Open Amid COVID Pandemic | Catch News


Amid deadly second wave of COVID-19 across country, portals of Gangotri Dham, the main pilgrimage of Chardham Yatra, were opened on the morning of May 15. The ‘doli yatra’ of Maa Ganga reached the Gangotri Dham after which portals were opened. Age-old traditional rituals were performed at the occasion. Enthusiasm among villagers was a little less owing to COVID-19 pandemic
