IndiGo airlines staff assaults passenger at Delhi airport

A video of a passenger being assaulted by IndiGo airlines staff has surfaced online. The passenger, Rajeev Katiyal, was manhandled and prevented from boarding the terminal coach after a scuffle with the staff at the Delhi airport.

The incident took place on October 15, but it is going viral on social media websites. According to Rajeev, he was waiting for the bus when an employee 'shouted at him in a rude manner'.

The government has ordered an inquiry and demanded a report from the airline on the incident. After an inquiry, IndiGo has fired the staff involved in the incident. According to reports, the footage was shot by Montu Kalra, who has also been sacked.

IndiGo President Aditya Ghosh called up the passenger and apologised.
