भारतीय किसान यूनियन के अध्यक्ष राकेश टिकैत आज कानपुर पहुँचे ।यहां सबसे पहले उन्होंने घण्टा घर पर चौधरी चरण सिंह की प्रतिमा में माल्यार्पण करने के बाद पत्रकारों से बात की उन्होंने कहा कि वर्तमान सरकार किसान विरोधी है जिसे देश से उखाड़ने के लिए हम लगातार उन प्रदेशो में जा रहे है जहां जहां चुनाव होने है।किसान आंदोलन से बीजेपी सरकार को लगातार घेरते आ रहे किसान नेता राकेस टिकट वही कहावत कर रहे है की ऊंट की चोरी नेहुरे नेहुरे ,कानपूर में आज तीसरे चरण के चुनाव के छै दिन पहले उन्होंने आज बीजेपी को चुनाव में सजा देने वाले पर्चे बाटे योगेंद्र यादव के साथ प्रेस क्लब में पर्चा दिखाते हुए उन्होंने समर्थको से चुनाव में बीजेपी को किसान विरोधी बताते हुए सजा देने की अपील की इस पचे में उनकी तरफ से अपील की गई है की मेरी इज्जात तुम्हारे हाथ में है मै तुमसे कभी मिला नहीं लेकिन मेरी इज्जत आपके हाथ में है इस किसान विरोधी बीजेपी को चुनाव में सबक सिखाना है लेकिन हैरानी ये है चुनाव में बीजेपी को पूरी तरह सबक सिखाने के पर्चे बाटने वाले टिकट साहब से जब पूछा आप कहते है की हम किसी राजनैतिक पार्टी के सपोर्ट और विरोध में नहीं है हमारा किस दल से मतलब नहीं है तो बड़ी मासूमियत सफाई देने लगे हम कहा विरोध कर रहे हम अपने लोगो से सिर्फ किसान विरोधी को सजा देने की बात कर रहे है ।

भारतीय किसान यूनियन के कार्यकर्ताओं ने केंद्र सरकार पर वादा खिलाफी करने का आरोप लगाते हुए जिला मुख्यालय मंझनपुर में प्रर्दशन किया। केंद्र सरकार की वादाखिलाफी के विरोध में किसानों ने 'विश्वासघात दिवस' मनाते हुए राष्ट्रपति को सम्बोधित ज्ञापन डीएम को सौंपा है।जिला मुख्यालय मंझनपुर में भारतीय किसान यूनियन के जिलाध्यक्ष नूरुल इस्लाम की अगुवाई में किसानों ने जिला मुख्यालय में केंद्र सरकार के खिलाफ प्रर्दशन किया किसानों का कहना है कि सरकार के 9 दिसंबर 2021 के जिस पत्र के आधार पर आंदोलन स्थगित किया गया था, उनमें से कोई एक भी वादा अभी तक पूरा नहीं किया है। इसके चलते जिला एवम तहसील स्तर पर विरोध प्रदर्शन किया गया है। सरकार ने किसानों के साथ धोखा दिया है। किसानों का कहना है कि 15 जनवरी के फैसले के बाद भी, भारत सरकार ने 9 दिसंबर के अपने पत्र में किया कोई वादा पूरा नहीं किया है। इसमें मांग की गई थी कि आंदोलन के दौरान हुए दर्ज किए गए मामलों को तत्काल वापस लिया जाएगा और शहीद परिवारों को मुआवजा दिया जाएगा, लेकिन अब तक कोई वादा पूरा नहीं हुआ वहीं, एमएसपी के मुद्दे पर भी सरकार ने कमेटी के गठन की कोई घोषणा नहीं की है।जिसके लिए प्रदर्शन किया जा रहा है।लेकिन सरकार पुलिस से दबाव बनवाने का काम कर रही है और सभी प्रदर्शनकारियों की फोटो खिंचवाकर मुकदमा लिखने का काम किया जाएगा।
