In a candid chat with Bollywood Bubble, the two opened up on what gave them the courage to take up the first step towards independent music, the challenges, and the excitement of it. Sunidhi and Shalmali also opened up on the challenges they have endured throughout the journey. While Sunidhi shared that a music director once told her that she won't survive the industry because her voice is 'manly', Shalmali said that she just did not feel she fits in the industry as a playback singer. Sunidhi also spoke about the current trend of having multiple composers work on a film which leads to music losing at the end. She highlights the many problems with the industry currently and hopes things get better. Shamali too shared her excitement about space independent music has opened for artists to own up their songs.
