Vijay Deverakonda's third film as the hero, Geetha Govindam, is making waves at the box office in India and in the foreign market as well. Directed by Parasuram, the film is a light-hearted entertainer with Rashmika Mandanna playing the female lead.

Producer Dil Raju, who watched Geetha Govindam recently, appreciated Vijay Deverakonda and compared his success to that of Pawan Kalyan's. Power Star's fans took offence and trolled the producer.

Dil Raju said, "A lot of actors became stars in Tollywood in the last 10-15 years. But I would say that after Pawan Kalyan's Tholi Prema, Vijay Deverakonda has now become a huge star with this romantic comedy entertainer. Here, everyone is shocked with Geetha Govindam's box office numbers. I can see that he has a bright future ahead."

Pawan Kalyan's fans were not satisfied with Dil Raju's comments and trolled him on Twitter.

One Twitter user wrote, "we have only one real star.. that is powerrrrrr star.. pls don't compar with pspk (sic)"
