Green Ride Gearing Up DU Students To Go Green || DU Students On A Cycle Rally || Green Delhi
दिल्ली के सड़कों पर बढ़ती गाड़ियों के साथ ही प्रदूषण का स्तर भी खतरे के निशान को छूता दिख रहा है। ऐसे में ग्रीन राइड एक ऐसी मुहीम लेकर आया है जो लोगों को लोकल कम्यूटिंग के लिये किसी मोटर गाड़ी की बजाय साइकिल से चलने के लिये प्रेरित करता है।
दिल्ली यूनिवर्सिटी नॉर्थ कैंपस में आज रामजस कॉलेज के स्टूडेंट्स ने पर्यावरण बचाओ के सन्देश के साथ ग्रीन राइड के समर्थन में कैंपस एरिया में साइकिल रैली निकाली।
ख़ास बात ये है की ये साइकिल डीयू नार्थ कैंपस एरिया से कहीं भी जाने के लिये मुफ्त दिये जाते हैं। टेक्-महिंद्रा फाउंडेशन के सपोर्ट से ग्रीन राइड ने नॉन मोटोराइज्ड कम्यूटिंग के लिए ये मुहीम शुरू की है , जिसके जरिये लोग पर्यावरण को स्वच्छ रखने में अपनी भागीदारी दे सकते हैं , वो भी बस साइकिल चला कर। सेवाएं बिलकुल मुफ्त हैं। ग्रीन राइड पिछले सात साल से इस मुहीम में लगा है लेकिन दिल्ली में निगम और अन्य सरकारी एजेंसियों से सहयोग नहीं मिलने से उनकी ये मुहीम ज्यादा लोगों तक नहीं पहुँच सकी है।
लेकिन अब कॉलेज स्टूडेंट्स ने ही ठान लिया है की वो खुद भी साइकिल चलाएंगे और बाकी लोगों को भी इसके लिये प्रेरित करेंगे। और ये साइकिल रैली भी 'गो ग्रीन' के सन्देश के साथ ही शुरू की गई है।

Green Ride With Tech Mahindra Foundation Promotes Cycling for better Environment
Green Ride has been working since 07 years with a chief objective of making the environment pollution free and eco-friendly but was unable to enrole itself in a full fledged manner due to lack of governmental support and therefore decided to work on individual basis. Just as the name says Green Ride, the message is loud and clear to go green and stop using motor vehicles when not necessary.
To escalate the objective, Green Ride is now hitting the youth to widen green concept, Green Ride was in Delhi University North Campus, campaigning about the Green Ride Idea of using cycles in the near by area which will be provided free of cost. These cycles will be availed by Green Ride team at various stands from Vishvavidhyalaya Metro Station till Ramjas College and not to forget , these cycles will be provided at 0 cost i.e. for free. For all this campaigning and running of Green Ride Tech Mahindra is being highly supportive in every which way possible.
To promote Go Green Concept students from Ramjas College took out a Rally to provoke people to use None Motorized vehicle for local travelling. If 50% of people start contributing their bit in Go Green objective then the pollution will cut short half of the graph and will add up to a better and healthier environment.
