While Congress has fielded Karnataka Chief Minister Siddaramaiah for a second seat in Badami constituency, BJP's Sriramulu is also an equally high profile challenger. Presently an MP from Bellary, he is tipped to become the deputy Chief Minister of the state if BJP comes to power. Amid all this there is a JD(S) candidate who is also no push over.
