Fake websites poses new challenge for cyber police
The #fakewebsites pose a significant challenge for cyber police and law enforcement agencies. Fake websites are created with the intent to deceive users, often impersonating legitimate organizations or services.
The fraudsters create a genuine looking website of known brands, government bodies, private and nationalised banks. The unsuspecting user is induced to pay online and once the payment is done, the customer either never gets the ordered product or the amount is deducted online from the person’s debit or credit card.

Semiconductors are essential tools in our national security arsenal, animating every major weapon and defence system as well as their command and control architecture, including GPS and space. Now Semiconductors have become a major geopolitical issue, especially in the U.S.-China rivalry.
Many PC processors, including those Apple uses, can currently only be made in Taiwan. Almost all of the graphics processing unit (GPU) chips that run artificial intelligence applications in data centres are made in Taiwan.
The battle to control this vital technology is at the forefront of U.S.-China competition, while dependence on Taiwan to produce the vast majority of the most complex chips has become a major focus for U.S. policymakers.
It is a question of trillion dollars who will win the chip war? Chip war is now a war more than the geopolitical conflict. What will be the implications in the future, who will win this war and who is going to be the scapegoat is the biggest unanswered question.
The U.S.A, Asian countries like Taiwan, China, South Korea and Japan are the largest semiconductor producers in the world. Taiwan, China, and South Korea’s companies account for 87% of the global market. At the same time, America always wants to halt China but China’s semiconductor industry continues to advance at the 9%, its annual sales might reach $114 billion by 2024.
Today, TSMC produces 90 percent of the world’s most advanced processor chips, while Taiwanese companies produce over a third of the new computing power the world adds each year. TSMC has risen to become the world’s largest chipmaker for two reasons.
Memory chips, which store data, are relatively simple and are traded like commodities. Logic chips, which run programs and act as the brains of a device, are more complex and expensive. The modern Indian societies are using applications, known as gated apps, that help digitize the tedious process of approvals that are involved in managing & maintenance of the society. These applications provide some utilitarian features like – allowing people to enter the society like maids, food deliveries, parcels or simply some guests that might come to the society. Other features include viewing all the member’s phone numbers, house number, names of the residents etc. These applications are utterly utilitarian. There are currently hundreds of gated apps used in India. These apps are being implemented in more and more cities throughout the country. The jurisprudence in data protection laws in India –is popularly said that “data is the new oil”. In the 21st century data has replaced oil as the most significant commodity in the market.
Most of the data in the market belongs to one of the top 5 data companies in the market. These companies say that the data is “end-to-end encrypted”. When people see this, they feel assured. Their data is not being leaked, nor is it getting into the hands of some hackers. However, what people don’t understand is that no matter how securely they keep this data, their data is still getting into the wrong hands. How is this possible is a serious question posed in front of the users? The time has come that each and every user subscribing to gated applications should read the privacy policy, terms and conditions and start using it. Such a practice is still not followed by a majority of Indian users. It should not be collected for a specific purpose. Data only necessary for the purpose should be collected. The collection should be lawful & the user should be correctly notified before processing is done. Processed personal data should be complete & not misleading. The Quantum Indians
At the turn of the 20th century, the world was witnessing a renaissance in the area of quantum physics through the work of great scientists such as Max Planck, Albert Einstein, Ernest Rutherford or Neils Bohr. Unknown to the world, three Indian scientists were also making significant contributions to the quantum world with revolutionary deductions, interpretations and theories.
Dr. Satyendra Nath Bose devised a statistical theory of counting photons - a revelation even to Albert Einstein -- that paved the way for the two great minds to work in tandem in formulating fundamental theories as the Bose-Einstein Statistics and Bose-Einstein Condensate. Boson, the class of particles that obey Bose-Einstein statistics, was named after Dr. S. N. Bose. Sir C. V. Raman gave the world what is known as the Raman effect, which redefined how we see light and colour. Another contemporary, Dr. Meghnad Saha produced an equation that explained stellar radiation and is regarded as one of the fathers of modern astrophysics. All the three scientists started their careers at the Calcutta University, became Fellows of the Royal Society, and Raman was the first and only Indian to be awarded the Nobel Prize for physics.
