यूपी में नहीं बढ़ेंगी बिजली दरें, राज्य विद्युत नियामक आयोग ने जारी किया टैरिफ ऑर्डर
मुख्यमंत्री योगी आदित्यनाथ की घोषणा और कोविड-19 के प्रकोप को देखते हुए राज्य विद्युत नियामक आयोग ने पिछले साल की तरह इस साल भी बिजली दरों में किसी तरह का बदलाव नहीं किया है। सभी श्रेणी के उपभोक्ताओं के लिए 2021-22 में मौजूदा दरें ही प्रभावी रहेंगी। यही नहीं पावर कॉर्पोरेशन की ओर से श्रेणियों के स्लैब में परिवर्तन तथा रेगुलेटरी एसेट के आधार पर दरों में 10-12 फीसदी तक की वृद्धि के प्रस्ताव को भी आयोग ने खारिज कर दिया है। दरों में वृद्धि न किए जाने की वजह आगामी विधानसभा चुनाव को भी माना जा रहा है।
विद्युत नियामक आयोग के अध्यक्ष आरपी सिंह, सदस्य केके शर्मा व वीके श्रीवास्तव की पूर्ण पीठ ने प्रदेश की बिजली वितरण कंपनियों की ओर से 2021-22 के लिए दाखिल वार्षिक राजस्व आवश्यकता 2020-21 की एनुअल परफार्मेंस रिव्यू, 2019-20 के लिए दाखिल ट्रू-अप तथा स्लैब परिवर्तन याचिका पर बृहस्पतिवार को अपना फैसला सुनाते हुए टैरिफ आर्डर जारी कर दिया। खास बात यह है कि 49 हजार करोड़ रुपये से ज्यादा के रेगुलेटरी एसेट का दावा करने वाली बिजली कंपनियों पर इस साल भी उपभोक्ताओं की करीब 1059 करोड़ रुपये की देनदारी निकल आई है। मौजूदा सरकार में अभी तक केवल एक बार वर्ष 2019-20 में बिजली दरों में बढ़ोतरी हुई है।
