केजरीवाल सरकार द्वारा 31 मई, 2021 तक दिल्ली में लॉकडाउन को बढ़ाने के निर्णय को सही दिशा में सरकार द्वारा उठाया गया कदम बताया है और दिल्ली और अन्य राज्यों के व्यापारी दिल्ली सरकार के इस कदम का स्वागत करते हैं। यह बयान कॉन्फ़ेडरेशन ऑफ़ आल इंडिया ट्रेडर्स (कैट) के राष्ट्रीय महामंत्री प्रवीण खंडेलवाल ने दिया। उन्होंने कहा कि हालांकि दिल्ली में कोरोना संक्रमण की दर कम हो रही है लेकिन यदि लॉकडाउन खोला गया तो निश्चित रूप से संक्रमण की संख्या बढ़ने का अंदेशा है। कॉन्फ़ेडरेशन ऑफ़ आल इंडिया ट्रेडर्स के राष्ट्रीय महामंत्री प्रवीण खंडेलवाल ने दिल्ली के मुख्यमंत्री केजरीवाल से आग्रह किया कि वो वाराणसी मॉडल का अध्ययन करें क्योंकि वाराणसी में स्थानीय प्रशासन व्यापारिक संगठनों के सहयोग एवं उनसे बातचीत करते हुए कोरोना पर काबू पाने के लिए बेहद प्रभावकारी साबित हुआ है।
