अफगानिस्तान के अल्पसंख्यक समुदाय के प्रतिनिधि शनिवार को प्रधानमंत्री नरेंद्र मोदी से मुलाकात करने पहुंचे। प्रतिनिधिमंडल में सिख और हिन्दू समुदाय के लोग शामिल हैं। प्रधानमंत्री नरेंद्र मोदी के साथ बैठक में अल्पसंख्यक समुदाय के मुद्दों पर चर्चा हुई। अफगानिस्तान में जुल्मों का शिकार होकर भारत आए हिंदू और सिख समुदाय के लोगों ने प्रधानमंत्री नरेंद्र मोदी से मुलाकात की। उन्होंने बुरे वक्त में भारतीय मूल के अफगानी नागरिकों की मदद करने के लिए प्रधानमंत्री नरेंद्र मोदी का शुक्रिया अदा किया। प्रतिनिधिमंडल ने अफगान के अल्पसंख्यकों का कल्याण सुनिश्चित करने और तालिबान के कब्जे के बाद उन्हें शरण देने के लिए पीएम का आभार जताया। इस दौरान 2020 में तालिबान द्वारा अगवा किए गए अफगान नागरिक निदान सिंह सचदेवा भी मौजूद रहे।
