Online skill gaming companies wrote to Ministry of Finance and all GST Council members, saying high taxation will lead to shutdown of over 120 companies. More than 120 CEOs/founders of online skill gaming companies and game developers along with all the industry bodies have written to the PMO and relevant ministries in the interest of protecting the online skill gaming industry.
#Onlinegamingcompanies said an increase of #GST to 28% on Gross Gaming Revenue/Platform fee will result in a 55% increase in GST quantum. The gaming industry currently supports lakh of direct and indirect jobs, and these numbers will grow substantially in the next few years.

Unsurprisingly, organizations cited the evolving threat landscape as one of the top challenges in preventing ransomware attacks. As evidenced by ransomware surveys, there is a huge opportunity for the adoption of technology solutions like segmentation, SD-WAN, ZTNA, as well as SEG and EDR, to help protect against the threat of ransomware and the methods of access most commonly reported by respondents. The high amount of attacks demonstrates the urgency for organizations to ensure their security addresses the latest ransomware attack techniques across networks, endpoints, and clouds. The good news is that organizations are recognizing the value of a platform approach to ransomware defense.” “A recent report from FortiGuard Threat Landscape says ransomware grew 1070% year over year.
The survey reveals that most organizations are more concerned about ransomware than other cyberthreats. However, while the majority of organizations surveyed indicated they are prepared for a ransomware attack, including employee cyber training, risk assessment plans, and cybersecurity insurance, there was a clear gap in what many respondents viewed as essential technology solutions for protection and the technology that can best guard against the most commonly reported methods to gain entry to their networks. Based on the technologies viewed as essential, organizations were most concerned about remote workers and devices, with Secure Web Gateway, VPN and Network Access Control among the top choices. While ZTNA is an emerging technology, it should be considered a replacement for traditional VPN technology. Another surprise was secure email gateway at 33%, given phishing was reported as a common entry method of attackers. With this top concern of organizations regarding a ransomware attack was the risk of losing data, with the loss of productivity and the interruption of oಇಂದ VARINDIA| 34 ವೀಕ್ಷಣೆ

Transition to Zero Trust Architecture
A broad security model that has been considered for implementation is modern cloud-native architecture for enterprise applications. The Zero Trust (ZT) approach leverages continuous resource monitoring and dynamic risk evaluations to protect every individual asset/resource against a potential attacker within the network, hence “Zero Trust.” The heart of Zero Trust Architecture (ZTA) is the Policy Engine (PE). PE is ultimately the decision maker on granting or refusing access using various datasets per session basis. This allows us to move away from the user-id/password-based authentication and authorization model. Most enterprises will not implement a Policy Engine but buy one from a leading solution provider. The Policy Engine providers are actively innovating and providing interesting approaches to mitigate threats. However, the biggest hindrance has not been solution capability but the implementation and configuration of the architecture that best suits their needs. This leads to clients asking how they go about enabling this “ZTA” in their organization.
The good news is that this does not mean you have to start building your organization network and access policy from scratch; there are hybrid opportunities that can be leveraged. Every organization can follow a different approach to implement Zero Trust Architecture that is ideal for their user flows and resource usages. The key success for migrating to any ZTA-based implementation from a legacy flat network depends on multiple factors. Based on research and industry experience, this has classified overall success factors into the following buckets: Right Initiation, Operational Success Factor and Executional Success Factor. Despite thousands of different corporates that are into the security domains, still there is no respite to the growing cyber threats . We can say there will always be a need for the best software tools and technologies. Organizations are finding it hard to defend their IT Networks from impending attacks. It has increased manifolds in recent times. Whenever the defense team of an organization gets a sense of confidence after deploying the latest tools, they get another attack with new variants. This makes them realize, was there any mistake in decision making? There is a famous saying – Attackers are at least 10 steps ahead of the defenders. This they could achieve just by adapting themselves to new technologies & an appetite of learning. Whenever new technologies get released for common use, they immediately try to use them for their purpose. But what happens if Hackers also use the same programming language to create the malware & infect the system? Well, in this case, it would be near impossible for the existing tools to detect the malware, which has been written using these programming languages.

Cyber Defenses against Tech War
2021 has already broken records for cyberattacks, with an all-time high of 93% increase of ransomware and over 70% in all cyberattacks in the US in just 12 months. Offenses have reached a record of ransomware victims, with an unknown scope of attacks mostly in the US, and some victims in Europe as well. The ransomware attack, apparently conducted by the Russian speaking group REvil, represents a catastrophic combination of 2021’s most notorious cyberattack trends, supply chain attacks and ransomware. As many as 1,500 businesses around the world have been affected by the biggest ransomware attack to be recorded in history, the chief executive of American IT firm Kaseya has said.
Software has become a weapon and the data the prisoners of war. The hackers have demanded $70 million to restore all the affected businesses' data. Among the businesses affected are supermarkets in Sweden, IT companies in Germany and the Netherlands, and schools and kindergartens in New Zealand were knocked offline. The hackers have used the VSA software developed by Kaseya which helps companies remotely monitor their computer systems. The company said it sent a detection tool to nearly 900 customers. Ransomware criminals break into networks and sow malware that cripples networks on activation by scrambling all their data. Victims get a decoder key when they pay up. Sources said, REvil level examines the financial records of the victim – insurance claims if they can find them – before they encrypt the data. They threaten to dump the stolen data online, unless paid, which has become another source of income and a nightmare for the victim.

आने वाले माह जुलाई की पहली तारीख भारत देश के लिए ऐतिहासिक दिन होने वाला है क्योंकि 1 जुलाई से पूरे देश की टेक्स व्यवस्था में भारी बदलाव आने वाला है। इस बदलाव का नाम है GST जिसके लागु होने के बाद पूरे देश में एक टेक्स प्रक्रिया लागु हो जायेगी। GST के लागू होने से पहले ही देश में अलग अलग व्यवसाय करने वाले लोगो का विरोध भी सुरु हो चूका है।
दिल्ली के प्रेस क्लब में आज फर्नीचर के बिजनेस से जुड़े लोगों के संगठन ने एक प्रेस वार्ता का आयोजन किया और GST के तहत फर्नीचर पर लगने जा रहे 28 प्रतिशत टेक्स का विरोध किया। दिल्ली फर्नीचर फेड्रेसन के अध्यक्ष रातिन्दर पाल सिंह ने कहा कि देश के फर्नीचर मार्किट पर 60 प्रतिसत कब्ज़ा पहले से ही बाहर से आने वाले आयातित फर्नीचर का है। और अब 28 प्रतिसत GST लगा कर सरकार हमारी कमर तोड़ रही है। रतिन्दर पाल जी ने कहा कि फर्नीचर देश का हर आमिर के साथ गरीब भी करता है फिर फर्नीचर लग्जरी कैसे हो गया। उनका कहना था कि हीरा जो आम लोगों के पहुँच से काफी दूर है उसपर 3 प्रतिसत टेक्स लगाया गया है और फर्नीचर जो हर परिवार की जरुरत है उसपर 28 प्रतिसत टेक्स लगाया जाना सही नही है। उन्होंने मांग सरकार से मांग की है कि फर्नीचर पर लगाया गया GST कम किया जाय।
भारत सरकार के फर्नीचर पर लगाये गए 28 प्रतिसत टेक्स के विरोध में पूरे देश के फर्नीचर व्यापारियों ने आज से 3 दिनों के बंद की घोषणा की है और परसो यानि 28 जून को कीर्ति नगर में दिल्ली समेत पूरे भारत के फर्नीचर व्यापारी इक्कट्ठा हो आगे की रणनीति तय करेंगे।ಇಂದ Delhi Darpan TV| 472 ವೀಕ್ಷಣೆ
