राष्ट्रीय पुरस्कार विजेता ममता देवी, जिन्होंने महज 12 साल की उम्र से पेंटिंग करना शुरू कर दिया था। अमेरिका के पूर्व राष्ट्रपति बराक ओबामा की पत्नी मिशेल ओबामा को भी इनकी पेंटिंग बेहद पसंद आती हैं। ममता इतनी सशक्त हैं कि वह सैकड़ों महिलाओं को रोजगार दे रहीं हैं, अंतरराष्ट्रीय महिला दिवस के अनुष्ठान में राजधानी दिल्ली के आईएनए दिल्ली हाट में मौजूद नेशनल अवार्ड और इंडियन वूमेन अचीवर अवार्ड विजेता ममता देवी ने इस बार महिला सशक्तिकरण पर पेंटिंग तैयार की है। मिथिला पेंटिंग के जरिए महिला सशक्तिकरण का पाठ पढ़ाया जा रहा है। ममता देवी अपनी पेंटिंग के जरिए उन महिलाओं को सम्मान दे रही है जिन्होंने भारत के विकास और गौरव के लिए अपना समर्पण दिया और कार्य किया। अपनी पेंटिंग में उन्होंने इस बार सीता माता जब गर्भाशय के दौरान स्वाभिमान के लिए महल त्याग दिया था और उनके इसी त्याग ने श्री राम जी से अपना नाम पहले जोड़ लिया उसी क्रम में रानी लक्ष्मीबाई को भी इस पेंटिंग में दर्शाया गया है जहां पर है छोटी बच्ची को अपने साथ लेकर युद्ध में उतर गई और बहुत ही बहादुरी का परिचय उन्होने दिया। इस पेंटिंग में आज की नारी मीराबाई चानू का भी नाम जुड़ा है और उनको भी पेंटिंग में दर्शाया है कि उन्होंने इस तरीके से भारत के लिए ओलंपिक्स में सिल्वर मेडल जीता और महिला सशक्तिकरण का एक उदाहरण पेश किया जिससे देश का गौरव बढ़ा। पेंटिंग में यह भी दर्शाया गया है कि महिलाएं बॉर्डर पर खड़े होकर देश की रक्षा कर रही हैं और हवाई जहाज तक उड़ा रही है हर क्षेत्र में महिला सशक्तिकरण का परचम बुलंदी से लहरा रही है। जिससे देश का भी मान सम्मान बढ़ रहा है और पेंटिंग के जरिए यह सब बातें समझाई जा रही हैं।
