वैष्णो देवी में ऐसे मची भगदड़ 12 की मौत 14 हुए घायल
माता वैष्णो देवी मंदिर में साल 2022 के पहले दिन बेहद दुखद दुर्घटना हुई है। मंदिर परिसर में मची भगदड़ में 12 लोगों की मौत हो गई है। कई लोग घायल भी बताए जा रहे हैं, जिन्हें नारायणा अस्पताल में भर्ती कराया गया है। भगदड़ में मारे गए लोगों के परिजनों को 10 लाख रुपये और घायलों को 2 लाख रुपये की अनुग्रह राशि दिए जाने का निर्णय लिया गया है। इस दुर्घटना पर पीएम नरेंद्र मोदी, कांग्रेस सांसद राहुल गांधी, गृहमंत्री अमित शाह समेत कई नेताओं ने शोक संतप्त परिवारों के प्रति संवेदना व्यक्त की है। मंदिर के अधिकारियों ने कहा कि भगदड़ तब हुई जब बड़ी संख्या में श्रद्धालु बिना अनुमति पर्ची के माता वैष्णो देवी भवन में प्रवेश कर गए। नए साल के मौके पर बड़ी संख्या में श्रद्धालु मंदिर में दर्शन करने के लिए आए थे। भगदड़ रात करीब 2.45 बजे हुई। सरकार और धर्मस्थल बोर्ड के वरिष्ठ अधिकारी मौके पर पहुंच गए हैं।
At least 12 people were killed, while nearly 14 others were injured in a stampede, triggered by heavy rush of devotees on New Year's Day, at the Mata Vaishno Devi shrine atop Trikuta hills in Jammu and Kashmir. The stampede occurred shortly after midnight, near gate number three outside the sanctum sanctorum of the shrine atop Trikuta hills.
