Okra - 300 grams
Lemon juice - 2 tablespoons
Turmeric powder - 1/2 teaspoon
Garam masala - 1 tablespoon
Coriander powder - 1 tablespoon
Red chili powder - 1 tablespoon
Salt - 1 teaspoon
Corn flour - 50 grams
Oil - for frying
PREPARATION
1. Slice off the crown and base tip of each okra. Cut it into halves in lengthwise.
2. In a mixing bowl, add 300 grams chopped okra, 2 tablespoons lemon juice, 1/2 teaspoon turmeric powder, 1 tablespoon garam masala, 1 tablespoon coriander powder, 1 tablespoon red chili powder, 1 teaspoon salt and 50 grams corn flour.
3. Mix all the ingredients well.
4. Heat sufficient oil in a heavy skillet.Deep fry till brown and crisp. Drain on absorbent paper.

Coriander powder - 1 teaspoon
Butter - 100 grams
Honey - 1 tablespoon
Cream - 100 grams
Plum (bukhara) - 30 grams
PREPARATION
1. Soak 150 grams black gram in water for overnight.
2. Take a heavy skillet, add 150 grams soaked black gram, 1 litre water, 1 teaspoon salt and stir. Cover it with a lid and cook for 25 - 30 minutes.
3. Add 200 milliliters of tomato puree,1 tablespoon ginger garlic paste and stir.
4. Take a bowl, add 1 teaspoon paprika, 1 teaspoon garam masala, 1 teaspoon coriander powder, 1 teaspoon salt and some water. Mix it well.
5. Add this mixture into dal and stir. Then add 100 grams butter and cover it with a lid. Cook for 3 - 5 minutes.
6. Add 1 tablespoon honey and stir. Then add 100 grams cream and mix well. Cook for another 2 minutes.
7. Add 30 grams plum (bukhara) and stir.
8. Serve hot with naan.

Salt - 1 1/2 teaspoons, divided

Vinegar - 1 teaspoon
Oil - 65 millilters, divided
Chicken - 300 grams
Onions - 100 grams
Tomato puree - 100 milliliters
Turmeric powder - 1 teaspoon
Water - 50 milliliters
Fresh cream - 100 millilters
PREPARATION
1. In a mixing bowl, add 50 millilters hung curd, 1 tablespoon ginger garlic paste, 1/2 teaspoon garam masala, 1/2 teaspoon coriander powder, 1/2 teaspoon cumin powder, 1/2 teaspoon red chili powder, 1/2 teaspoon salt, 1 tablespoon lemon juice, 1 teaspoon vinegar, 15 milliliters oil and mix all the ingredients well.
2. Add 300 grams chicken and mix well.
3. Marinate chicken for 2 hours.
4. Grease baking tray with oil and place the chicken on it.
5. Preheat the oven to 450°F/230°C and bake for 10 - 15 minutes.
6. Heat 50 milliliters of oil in a heavy skillet, add 1 tablespoon ginger garlic paste, 100 grams onions and stir until onion is browned. Add 100 milliliters of tomato puree and stir.
7. Add 1 teaspoon turmeric powder, 1 teaspoon salt, 1/2 teaspoon red chili powder and stir. Add 50 milliliters of water and bring the mixture to boil.
8. Add this mixture into the blender and blend into a fine paste to make a smooth gravy.
9. Pour the gravy into a heavy skillet, add 100 milliliters of fresh cream and mix well.
10. Add the chicken into the gravy and stir to coat. Cook for 5 - 7 minutes.
11. Garnish with coriander.
12. Serve hot with rice.
13. Enjoy!

3. Remove it from heat.
4. Heat 2 tablespoons oil in a pot, add 6 pods cloves, 1 teaspoon cumin, 1 teaspoon ginger garlic paste and stir.
5. Add 150 milliliters onion paste and saute till light brown.
6. Add 1 teaspoon turmeric, 1 teaspoon cumin powder, 1 teaspoon coriander and stir.
7. Add 150 milliliters tomato puree and mix again. Saute for 3 - 4 minutes.
8. Add kidney beans and mix well.
9. Add 1 teaspoon salt, 1/2 teaspoon red pepper, 2 teaspoons garam masala and mix well. Cook for 5 - 7 minutes.
10. Garnish with coriander.
11. Serve hot with rice.

She expressed her disappointment towards people who didn’t criticise the film but its intent. The actress discussed the prevalent gender bias and how people never took offence when she was a part of such stories told from a male perspective. She pointed out how Pankaj Tripathi and Akshay Kumar starrer OMG 2 was supported by the same people who shamed her film, when somewhere they dealt with the same subject. Bhumi revealed if not getting any support from women within the industry disappointed her.
