दुनिया में कैलेंडर (Calender) का इतिहास बहुत पुराना है. समय समय पर दुनिया के शक्तिशाली शासकों ने अपने अनुसार कैलेंडर चलवाए और उसे दूसरे देशों में फैलाने का प्रयास किया. ग्रेगोरियन कैलेंडर (Gregorian Calender) कई बार संशोधित हुआ है. इससे संबंधित पहले कैलेंडर की शुरुआत रोमन साम्राज्य (Roman Empire) में हुई थी. तब रोमन कैलेंडर (Roman Calender) बहुत जटिल था. रोम (Rome) के शासक जूलियस सीजर (julius caesar) ने इसमें बदलाव कर जूलियन कैलेंडर चलाया.जूलियन कैलेंडर (Juliun Calender) यूरोप में कई सदियों तक चला...तब से इसी कैलेंडर को ग्रैगोरियन कैलेंडर का नाम मिल गया.

पंचांग के अनुसार श्रावण यानी सावन मास की मासिक शिवरात्रि का व्रत 06 अगस्त 2021 को श्रावण मास की कृष्ण पक्ष की चतुर्दशी तिथि को रखा जाएगा. पंचांग की गणना के अनुसार सावन मास की चतुर्दशी तिथि 06 अगस्त दिन शुक्रवार शाम को 06 बजकर 28 मिनट से आरंभ होगी. चतुर्दशी की तिथि अगले दिन यानी 07 अगस्त 2021 को शाम 07 बजकर 11 मिनट पर समाप्त होगी. शिवरात्रि का व्रत 06 अगस्त को रखा जाएगा.
सावन शिवरात्रि की पूजा का मुहूर्त
शास्त्रों के अनुसार मासिक शिवरात्रि का पूजन निशिता काल में करना सर्वोत्तम फलदायी माना गया है. पंचांग के अनुसार निशिता काल में सावन मास की शिवरात्रि पूजा का समय रात्रि 12 बजकर 06 मिनट से रात्रि 12 बजकर 48 मिनट तक बना हुआ है. इसके साथ शिवरात्रि पूजा के अन्य शुभ मुहूर्त इस प्रकार हैं-
शाम को 07: 08 बजे से रात 09 : 48 बजे तक
रात 09 : 48 बजे से देर रात 12 :27 बजे तक
देर रात 12:27 बजे से तड़के 03 : 06 बजे तक
सावन शिवरात्रि व्रत का आरंभ और पारण दोनों को ही विशेष माना गया है. मान्यता है कि शिवरात्रि के व्रत का पारण शुभ मुहूर्त में विधि पूर्वक ही करना चाहिए. तभी इस व्रत का पूर्ण फल प्राप्त होता है. पारण के बाद दान आदि का कार्य भी करना अच्छा माना गया है. शिवरात्रि व्रत का पारण पंचांग के अनुसार 07 अगस्त को प्रात: 05 बजकर 46 मिनट से लेकर दोपहर 03 बजकर 47 मिनट तक कर सकते हैं….
