#Ransomware is now one of the most potentially damaging — and prevalent — types of malware. With this lucrative crime, hackers break into a firm’s computer system, encrypting the data, which they will only release for a fee. A Sophos report revealed that the majority (83%) of IT teams in India said the number of phishing emails targeting their employees increased during 2020. Even government agencies are not spared. In February 2021, a number of senior Indian government officials, including those from the ministries of defence and external affairs, were targeted in a phishing campaign. According to the government officials, the attackers were using compromised government domain email accounts to launch their hacking attempts. Back in July 2020, a major Indian snacks manufacturer, Haldiram, faced a ransomware attack on its servers by hackers who allegedly encrypted all its files, data, applications and systems and demanded a ransom of 7 hundred thousand USD for giving access to the stolen data. Cybercriminals have now resorted to stealing information during an attack and threaten to publish this information on leak sites on the dark web or sell it, increasing the pressure for victims to pay the ransom.
In February 2021, India’s national airline, Air India, reported a cyberattack on their SITA passenger service systems containing personal identity information, passport data, ticket information, frequent flyer data and credit card information of about 4.5 million customers around the world. Cybersecurity Ventures predicts that ransomware damage costs will exceed $265 billion by 2031, with attacks on businesses, consumers, or devices occurring every two seconds. Whether the prediction is right or wrong, the message stays the same. Businesses need to plan, implement effective data protection and ransomware prevention solutions, and back up their data. Household Debt may have declined to 34% in Q1 FY22: SBI Report

The household debt as a percentage of gross domestic product may have declined to 34% in the first quarter of 2021-22 with the commensurate rise in GDP in the first quarter, though it has increased in absolute terms, the household debt has increased to Rs 75 lakh crore in the first quarter of FY22 from Rs 73.59 lakh crore in FY21, a report of State Bank of India's Research says. The COVID-19 pandemic has resulted in a spike in household debt to the GDP rate. As per the report, it rose sharply to 37.3 percent in 2020-21 from 32.5 percent in 2019-20.
The good thing is that in rural India, the share of outstanding cash debt from non-institutional credit agencies has declined significantly to 34% in 2018 from 44%in 2012. Notably, almost all states have registered a steep decline in non-institutional credit in rural areas, indicating the increase in formalisation of the economy. The share of non-institutional credit has declined significantly in the case of Bihar, West Bengal, Rajasthan, Haryana and Gujarat. In Haryana and Rajasthan, which witnessed loan waiver schemes, the share of non-institutional credit declined contrary to popular perception, it said. This could be explained by a significant increase in penetration of KCC (Kisan Credit Cards) in these two states. The number of KCC cards has jumped by 5 times over the 7 year period ended 2020. The report believes that the recent reforms in agriculture could further help in the formalisation of the economy, despite the political cacophony.

आपको बता दें कि आयकर विभाग के अधिकारियों ने 20 करोड़ रुपये की टैक्स चोरी का आरोप सोनू सूद पर लगाया है। सीबीडीटी ने एक बयान में कहा है कि अभिनेता और उनके सहयोगियों के परिसरों की तलाशी के दौरान 20 करोड़ रुपये की कर चोरी से संबंधित साक्ष्य मिले हैं। आज सोनू सूद ने ट्वीट करते हुए लिखा है- मैं अपनी क्षमता के मुताबिक भारत के लोगों की भलाई के लिए काम करने का संकल्प ले चुका हूं। इंतजार कर रहा हूं कि मेरे फाउंडेशन में जमा पैसों की आखिरी किश्त तक किसी भी तरह जरूरतमंद लोगों की जान बचा सकूं। मैंने कई मौकों पर बड़े-बड़ें ब्रान्ड को मेरी फीस के बदले लोगों की भलाई का काम करने के लिए कहा है। मेरा सफर जारी रहेगा। उन्होंने आखिर में लिखा है कि कर भला, हो भला और अंत भले का भला। सोनू सूद ने लिखा- मेरे घर पर आए कुछ मेहमानों (इनकम टैक्स के अधिकारी) के कारण पिछले चार दिनों से लोगों की सेवा नहीं कर पा रहा था, लेकिन अब मैं लौट आया हूं। कर भला हो भला, अंत भले का भला।

"It is unequivocally stated that the said reports are factually incorrect and are strongly denied. It is a fact that no notice was issued to the Durga Puja Committee Forum by the Department during this year," said an official statement.

प्रधानमंत्री मोदी ने पालम एयरपोर्ट पर शहीदों को श्रद्धांजलि दी। इसके बाद पार्थिव देहों को उनके परिजनों के पास रवाना किया गया।
रक्षा मंत्री शनिवार और रविवार को तमिलनाडु और कर्नाटक के शहीदों को श्रद्धांजलि देने जाएंगी। इन दिनों के लिए पहले से तय सभी कार्यक्रम रद्द किए गए।
स्वीडन, फ्रांस, हंगरी, इटली और जर्मनी समेत 25 देशों के प्रतिनिधि भारतीय विदेश मंत्रालय के दफ्तर पहुंचे। यहां भारतीय अधिकारियों के साथ पुलवामा हमले को लेकर बैठक की गई।
शनिवार सुबह 11 बजे संसद में सर्वदलीय बैठक होगी।
मुंबई के श्री सिद्धि विनायक मंदिर ने शहीदों के परिवारों की मदद के लिए 51 लाख रु. देने की घोषणा की।
राजनाथ सिंह ने कहा कि सुरक्षा बलों के साथ बैठक में हमने उन्हें हर तरह की इजाजत दी है। उन्होंने हुर्रियत का नाम लिए बगैर कहा कि कुछ लोग हिंदुस्तान में अमन बिगाड़ने की कोशिश करेंगे। वो लोग आईएसआई और पाकिस्तान से पैसा लेते हैं। अमन बिगाड़ने वालों पर सख्त कार्रवाई की जाएगी।
गृह मंत्री राजनाथ सिंह, कश्मीर के राज्यपाल सत्यपाल मलिक, सेना के उत्तरी कमान के चीफ लेफ्टिनेंट जनरल रणबीर सिंह ने सीआरपीएफ के शहीद जवानों को श्रीनगर में श्रद्धांजलि दी।
भारतीय विदेश सचिव विजय गोखले ने पाकिस्तान उच्चायुक्त सोहेल महमूद को तलब किया।
दिल्ली स्थित पाक उच्चायोग के बाहर प्रदर्शन, सुरक्षा बढ़ाई गई।
पुलवामा हमले के मद्देनजर कश्मीर में आज सुरक्षा बलों के काफिले का मूवमेंट रोका गया है।
जम्मू में 9 इलाकों में कर्फ्यू लगाया गया है।
गृह मंत्री राजनाथ सिंह कुछ देर में कश्मीर पहुंचेंगे। वह आलाधिकारियों के साथ बैठक कर आगे की रणनीति तय करेंगे।
सीआरपीएफ ने कहा कि हमले के जिम्मेदार लोगों को न भूलेंगे और न ही माफ करेंगे। हम शहीदों को नमन करते हैं। इस मुश्किल समय घड़ी में हम शहीदों के परिवारों के साथ हैं।
शहीदों के पार्थिव शरीर बडगाम स्थित सीआरपीएफ कैंप में रखे गए और श्रद्धांजलि दी गई। उन्हें परिवारों को भेजा जाएगा।
40 शहीदों में से 37 की पहचान हो चुकी है। 3 शवों के ज्यादा क्षत-विक्षत होने से अभी पहचान नहीं हो पाई।

Bhumi Pednekar recently appeared in the comedy Thank You For Coming and the film invited some extreme reactions from the viewers. While some praised the film for its bold concept, some shamed it for that. In an exclusive conversation with Bollywood Bubble host Akash Bhatnagar, Bhumi spoke about the latter group of people and slammed them for the shaming. She expressed her disappointment towards people who didn’t criticise the film but its intent. The actress discussed the prevalent gender bias and how people never took offence when she was a part of such stories told from a male perspective. She pointed out how Pankaj Tripathi and Akshay Kumar starrer OMG 2 was supported by the same people who shamed her film, when somewhere they dealt with the same subject. Bhumi revealed if not getting any support from women within the industry disappointed her. She highlighted the hypocrisy of the situation that people accept objectification of women but have a problem with them talking about their sexuality. You can watch the entire conversation here.
