दिल्ली की 70 विधानसभा क्षेत्रों में राजौरी गार्डन भी महत्वपूर्ण सीट है। पश्चिम दिल्ली लोकसभा निर्वाचन क्षेत्र का हिस्सा होने के साथ यह इलाका 1977 में विधानसभा सीट बनाया गया। इस सीट से कांग्रेस ने लगातार 5 चुनावों में जीत हासिल की। कांग्रेस के अजय माकन इस सीट से लगातार सबसे ज्यादा 3 बार विधायक बने। वर्तमान में यहां से आम आदमी पार्टी के जरनैल सिंह विधायक हैं। इस क्षेत्र में रिहायशी इलाकों के साथ कई मार्केट भी हैं। यहां की कई कॉलोनियां दिल्ली की पॉश कॉलोनियों में शामिल है। इस क्षेत्र में वो पंजाबी लोग ज्यादा रहते हैं जो साल 1947 में हुए भारत- पाकिस्तान के विभाजन समय यहां आए थे। इस क्षेत्र के सबसे अहम बाजार मैन मार्केट और नेहरु मार्केट हैं। इस क्षेत्र में कई मॉल्स और डीडीए अपार्टमेंट्स भी है।

ग्रेटर कैलाश विधानसभा सीट नई दिल्ली लोकसभा निर्वाचन क्षेत्र का हिस्सा होने के साथ ही यह दिल्ली 70 विधानासभा सीटों में भी शामिल है। दक्षिण दिल्ली का यह रिहायशी इलाका 2008 में विधानसभा सीट घोषित किया गया। परिसीमन आयोग की सिफारिशों के बाद चुनाव आयोग ने यहां पर पहले विधानसभा चुनाव संपन्न कराए। तब यहां से बीजेपी के विजय कुमार मल्होत्रा ने कांग्रेस के जितेंदर कुमार कोचर को हराया और विधायक बने। 2013 के चुनाव में आम आदमी पार्टी के नेता सौरभ भारद्वाज ने यहां से जीत हासिल की। 2015 के चुनाव में भी वह लगातार दूसरी बार विधायक चुने गए। एक सर्वे के मुताबिक यह इलाका रहने के लिहाज से सबसे सुरक्षित बताया गया था। दिल्ली के पॉश इलाकों में शुमार ग्रेटर कैलाश में बड़े शॉपिंग मॉल्स, बिजनेस सेंटर, विभिन्न कंपनियों के शोरूम और चर्चित शैक्षिक संस्थान मौजूद हैं।
