पश्चिम बंगाल में 48 घंटे से हो रही मूसलाधार बारिश की वजह से दुर्गापुर बैराज में पानी लबालब भर चुका है........दुर्गापुर बैराज से निकलते पानी को देखकर एक बार आपकी रूह कांप जाएगी......बैराज पर बढ़ते दबाव को कम करने के लिए दो लाख 14 हजार 9 सौ क्यूसेक पानी छोड़ा गया है.........बैराज से भारी मात्रा में पानी छोड़े जाने से हावड़ा,हुगली और बर्दवान जैसे इलाके जममग्न हो रहे हैं........वहीं इतनी ज्यादा मात्रा में पानी छोड़े जाने के बावजूद बैराज पर दबाव अभी भी बरकरार है.......

पश्चिम बंगाल में हो रहे मूसलाधार बारिश से कई जिलों में बाढ़ का संकट पैदा हो गया है.....दो दिनों से हो रही भारी बारिश की वजह से आसनसोल जिले के कई इलाकों में पानी भर जाने से लोगों के जीवन पर संकट मंडराने लगा है.....जेके नगर के जेमेरी पंचायत के गांव चारों तरफ से पानी में घिर गया था.......चारों तरफ पानी से घिर जाने के बाद गांव के लोगों की सांसें अटक गई थी.....लेकिन रात के घने अंधेरे में भी आर्मी की टीम ने गांव के फंसे लोगों को बचाने के लिए पूरी ताकत झोंक दी.....बताया जा रहा है कि चलबलपुर इंकलाईन इलाके से लगभग 30 परिवारों को आर्मी की टीम ने सफलतापूर्वक रेस्क्यू कर लिया.......पानी से घिरे इलाके से सुरक्षित निकालने के बाद आर्मी की तरफ से लोगों के लिए खाने-पीने का इंतजाम किया गया था........आर्मी की तरफ से मिली मदद पर गांव के लोगों ने उनका तहे दिल से धन्यवाद किया है........
