    कौशांबी ज़िले में अफसरों की अनदेखी के चलते गौशालयो में रखे गए गौवंशो की हालत बद से बदतर हो गयी हैं। देखरेख के अभाव में शुक्रवार को दो गौवंशो की मौत हो गयी। जबकि दो गौवंश कमज़ोर होने के कारण ज़मीन पर गिर गए। जिन्हें अधिकारियों और कर्मचारियों के के सामने ही आवारा कुत्ते नोच रहे थे। कमज़ोर हो चुकी बेबस गौवंश अपनी आंख और कान हिला कर ज़िंदा होने का एहसास करा रही थी। हालांकि कैमरा पहुचने पर आवारा कुत्ते को हटाया गया। थोड़ी देर बाद ही ज़मीन पर गिरे दोनों गौवंशो के पैर रस्सी से बांध कर उन्हें केयरटेकर बाहर फेकने जा रहे थे। लेकिन दोबारा कैमरा पहुँचने पर एक गौवंश को वही उसी हालत में छोड़ दिया गया। दरअसल बारिश के बाद सिराथू तहसील के रामपुर धमावा गाँव मे बने गौशाला में गंदगी और कीचड़ के कारण अव्यवस्था फैल गयी है। एक टीन शेड के नीचे लगभग 66 गौवंश होने के चलते साड़ दूसरे गौवंशो पर हमलावर हो जाते हैं। उन्हें बुरी तरह से ज़ख्मी कर देते हैं। साथ ही भूसा भी सही समय से नही मिलता है। ऐसा नही की गौशाला में भूसा की कोई कमी हो लेकिन ग्राम विकास अधिकारी की लापहरवाही के चलते गौशाला की देखरेख करने वाला कोई नही है। बताया जा रहा है कि कुछ दिन पहले गौशाला की देखरेख करने वाले बनवारी लाल की मौत हो गई है। उसके बाद आया केयरटेकर कभी -कभार ही गौशाला जाया करता हैं। जिसके कारण गौवंश कुपोषण का शिकार हो गए हैं। यही कारण हैं कि मुख्यमंत्री की महत्वाकांक्षी योजना गौवंश आश्रय स्थल अब गौवंशो के लिये कब्रगाह बनता जा रहा हैं।
