भारतीय सेना में अहीर रेजिमेंट की मांग को लेकर यादव समाज की ओर से महापंचायत का आयोजन किया गया।
दिल्ली के तालकटोरा स्टेडियम में यादव समाज द्वारा एक विशाल महापंचायत का आयोजन किया जिसकी अध्यक्षता जगदीश यादव द्वारा की गई यादव समाज द्वारा जो मांगे केन्द्रीय सरकार से उसके बारे हम आपको बता दें सबसे पहले तो यादव समाज की मांग है भारतीय सेना में अहीर रेजिमेंट का गठन। दूसरी मांग उनकी यह रही कि ओबीसी सर्टिफिकेट बनवाने के लिए 1993 का दस्तावेज जो मांगा जाता है उसको खत्म होना चाहिए। कार्यक्रम में बतौर मुख्य अतिथि दिल्ली के सांसद सुशील गुप्ता उपस्थित रहे और उन्होंने आश्वासन दिया कि आपकी इस मांग को हम राज्यसभा में लाएंगे जगदीश यादव जो कि चेयरमैन है दिल्ली अन्य पिछड़ा वर्ग आयोग के उन्होंने कहा कि सरकार तक बात पहुंचाने के लिए हम रामलीला मैदान में महापंचायत का आयोजन रखेंगे अगर सरकार ने हमारी मांग नहीं मानी तो। तालकटोरा स्टेडियम में पूरे देश में यादव समाज के लोग शामिल रहे।
