जिला पंचायत अध्यक्ष और जिला पंचायत सदस्यों के शपथ ग्रहण समारोह जिला मुख्यालय स्थित नेहरू हाल में संपन्न हुआ। जिला निर्वाचन अधिकारी राजेश कुमार ने सबसे पहले नवनिर्वाचित अध्यक्ष विजय यादव को शपथ दिलाई इसके बाद अध्यक्ष ने चुने गए जिला पंचायत सदस्यों को शपथ ग्रहण कराई। इस समारोह में पूर्व मंत्री सहित समाजवादी पार्टी के कई विधायक व शहर के दिग्गज लोग मौजूद रहे। शपथ ग्रहण समारोह के दौरान नेहरू हाल में कोविड प्रोटोकाल का पालन नहीं किया गया। भारी संख्या में सपा कार्यकर्ता और नेता बिना मास्क व सोशल डिस्टेंसिंग के नजर आए। कोरोना की तीसरी लहर की संभावना के बीच इस तरह के कार्यक्रम निश्चित रूप से कोरोना को बढ़ाने में सहायक होंगे। जिला पंचायत अध्यक्ष विजय यादव ने कहा कि वह जनता के लिए काम करेंगे। गांव में विकास पहुंचाने की कोशिश करेंगे।
