बेसिक शिक्षा परिषद के आधीन संचालित कक्षा-01 से 08 तक के विद्यालयों में छात्र-छात्राओं के अधिकाधिक नामांकन को प्रोत्साहन तथा शत प्रतिशत नामांकन कराए जाने के उद्देश्य से मुख्यमंत्री योगी आदित्यनाथ ने सोमवार को श्रावस्ती जनपद से स्कूल चलो अभियान का शुभारंभ किया है,यूपी के सभी परिषदीय विद्यालयों में अभियान का लाइव टेलीकास्ट दिखाए जाने व विद्यालय स्तर पर कार्यक्रम को सफल बनाने के विभिन्न निर्देश भी दिए गए थे।इसी क्रम में कौशाम्बी जनपद में एबीएसए कड़ा रोजी सिंह द्वारा अभियान हेतु ब्लॉक स्तरीय कार्यक्रम को सफल बनाने हेतु उच्चप्राथमिक विद्यालय सौंरई बुजुर्ग का चयन किया गया।कार्यक्रम का शुभारंभ मुख्य अतिथि एसडीएम सिराथू विनय कुमार गुप्ता ने मां सरस्वती के चित्र के सम्मुख दीप प्रज्ज्वलित कर किया। प्रधानाध्यापक अजय कुमार साहू के नेतृत्व में अभियान को सफल बनाने के दृष्टिगत सर्वप्रथम बच्चों, शिक्षकों व अभिभावकों के सहयोग से प्रातः बैनर ,तख्तियों व स्लोगन के जरिये प्रभातफेरी का आयोजन किया गया।विशाल प्रभातफेरी को कार्यक्रम के मुख्य अतिथि सिराथू एसडीएम विनय कुमार गुप्ता ने हरी झंडी दिखाकर रवाना किया।प्रभात फेरी के पश्चात विद्यालय में नव प्रवेशित बच्चों को रोली,टीका चंदन व पुष्पवर्षा से स्वागत करते हुए विगत शैक्षिक वर्ष में प्रत्येक कक्षाओं में क्रमशः प्रथम द्वितीय व तृतीय स्थान प्राप्त करने वाले छात्रों को पुरस्कृत किया गया।विद्यालय में आमंत्रित विद्यालय प्रबन्ध समिति के सदस्यों व माता व पिता अभिभावकों के स्वागत के पश्चात विद्यालय में एक घण्टे का मुख्यमंत्री योगी आदित्यनाथ के कार्यक्रम का सजीव प्रसारण दिखाया गया। कार्यक्रम के दौरान उपजिलाधिकारी ने अभिभावकों व बच्चों का उत्साहवर्धन के पश्चात शिक्षकों को बताया कि “स्कूल चलों अभियान” के अन्तर्गत विद्यालयों में नामांकन/ नामांकित न होने वाले बच्चों की प्रत्येक ग्राम, मोहल्ला/वार्ड को आच्छादित कर घर घर सम्पर्क किया जाए तथा यह सुनिश्चित किया कि कोई भी बच्चा नामांकन से वंचित न रह जाए।
