. 27 साल के संदेश पाटिल ने केवल ठंडे मौसम में फलने-फूलने वाली केसर की फसल को महाराष्ट्र के जलगांव जैसे गर्म इलाके में उगाकर लोगों को हैरत में डाल दिया है। उन्होंने मेडिकल की पढ़ाई छोड़कर जिद के बलबूते अपने खेतों में केसर की खेती करने की ठानी और अब वे हर महीने लाखों का मुनाफा भी कमा रहे हैं। इसके लिए उन्होंने लोकल और ट्रेडिशनल फसल के पैटर्न में बदलाव किए.. जलगांव जिले के मोरगांव खुर्द में रहने वाले 27 साल के संदेश पाटिल ने मेडिकल ब्रांच के बीएएमएस में एडमिशन लिया था, लेकिन इसमें उनका मन नहीं लगा।
