WATCH: Activists hold protest against Pak brutalities in New York
Human rights activists organised a massive protest against the Pakistan Army in front of the United Nations General Assembly here on Friday (local time).
“Our demand is to end the human rights violations by the Pakistani military immediately. They should release the people who are still locked up in torture cells. But we are accused of terrorism if we raise our voices against them. There’s a dictatorship in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa province by the Pakistani military establishment,” said Gulalai Ismail, a rights activist who was forced to flee Pakistan after being accused of treason.

Pak's Ahmadiyya Muslims allege persecution, demand justice at UN event in Geneva
Geneva (Switzerland): The members of the Ahmadiyya Muslim community from Pakistan have alleged persecution and demanded justice during a side event organised on the margins of the 42nd session of the UN Human Rights Council in Geneva. In 1974, Pakistan's Constitution was amended and the Ahmadis, a minority community, were declared non-Muslims according to the new law.

1..1576 को हॉलैंड में स्पेन के विरुद्ध जनविरोध का नेतृत्व करने वाले विलियम दि साइलेन्ट ने देश की स्वतंत्रता की घोषणा की थी। यह विद्रोह वर्ष 1568 में तेज़ हुआ था और हॉलैंड के सात राज्यों के एक साथ मिल जाने के बाद स्वतंत्र देश की स्थापना के लिए ज़मीन तैयार हो गई। हॉलैंड की स्वतंत्रता की घोषणा के बाद भी स्पेन के सैनिकों ने हॉलैंड की जनता का दमन जारी रखा। 1609 को हॉलैंड के नेताओं और स्पेन के नरेश के बीच शांति समझौते पर हस्ताक्षर हुए, जो वास्तव में हॉलैंड की स्वतंत्रता को औपचारिकता प्रदान करने के अर्थ में था। स्वतंत्र होने के बाद हॉलैंड ने दूसरे देशों के अतिग्रहण का अभियान आरंभ किया था।
2.. 1632 में मुगल बादशाह शाहजहां की पत्नी मुमताज़ महल का निधन हुआ था। मुमताज़ महल की याद में शाहजहां ने ताजमहल बनाने का फैसला किया, जिसके निर्माण में 22 साल लगे। मुमताज़ महल का असली नाम अर्जुमंद बानो था। 14 साल की उम्र में मुमताज़ महल की सगाई शाहजहां के साथ हुई थी। सगाई के पांच साल बाद 10 मई, 1612 को शाहजहां से मुमताज़ का निकाह हुआ। मुमताज़ महल बहुत अच्छी शतरंज खिलाड़ी भी थीं और उन्हें शाहजहां से भी अच्छा खिलाड़ी माना जाता था। मुमताज़ महल के जनाज़े को एक विशाल जुलूस के साथ आगरा ले जाया गया और ताजमहल के गर्भगृह में दफना दिया गया। इस जुलूस पर उस समय आठ करोड़ रुपये खर्च हुए थे।ద్వారా DB Live| 682 ఎంతమంది చూసారు
