दिल्ली के तीसरे रिंग रोड़ का पूर्व दिशा का हिस्सा बनने का काम ठंडे बस्ते में
दिल्ली के थर्ड रिंग रोड के नाम से मशहूर UER-II दिल्ली-पानीपत हाईवे NH-44 (Old NH-1) तक हो रहा है तैयार।
दरअसल UER-II का काम दिसंबर तक पूरा होने का टारगेट रखा गया है पिछले सप्ताह केंद्रीय मंत्री नितिन गडकरी खुद यहां का दौरा करके गए हैं। दिसंबर से इसके शुरू होने पर सिंघु बॉर्डर से मात्र 20 मिनट में गाड़ी दिल्ली एयरपोर्ट पर पहुंचेगी। UER-II दिल्ली पानीपत हाईवे से शुरू किया गया है जो रोहिणी, बेगमपुर, मुंडका, नजफगढ़ होते हुए द्वारका एक्सप्रेसवे से मिलेगा इस UER-II को आगे बकोली से पूर्व दिशा की तरफ लैंड पूलिंग P-2 जोन में बढ़ना था जो बकोली से शुरू होकर हमीदपुर, बख्तावरपुर, हिरणकी, रमजानपुर, मोहम्मदपुर, तिगीपुर होते हुए बुराड़ी पुस्ते पर मिलेगा और आगे वजीराबाद के पास में सेकंड रिंग रोड से जुड़ेगा।
लेकिन पूर्व दिशा के हिस्से पर अभी तक कोई काम शुरू नहीं हुआ है यहां इस रोड़ हेतु जमीन तक एक्वायर नहीं की गई है। यदि यह हिस्सा भी शुरू होता है तो दिल्ली में सिंघु बॉर्डर से पंजाब, हरियाणा, हिमाचल, कश्मीर की तरफ से आने वाले सभी वाहन UER-II के जीरो पॉइंट से सीधे वजीराबाद पर आकर मिलेंगे। उन्हें मुकरबा चौक आदि की तरफ से नहीं जाना पड़ेगा और ट्रैफिक जाम से बड़ी निजात मिलेगी।
इस बाबत 2022 में भी दिल्ली देहात विकास मंच DDA से पत्राचार कर चुका है और यह पत्राचार अभी भी लगातार जारी है। दिल्ली पानीपत पुराने नेशनल हाईवे नंबर वन जिसका नया नम्बर नेशनल हाईवे नंबर 44 है वहां से शुरू होकर सीधा यमुना किनारे आएगा जो P2 जोन के मास्टर प्लान में भी है। अब डीडीए ने NHAI को लिखा है कि आप UER-II का P2 zone में भी काम करिए लेकिन अभी तक NHAI ने DDA के इस पत्र का जवाब नहीं दिया है।
