स्विट्जरलैंड के बाद अब श्रीलंका ने भी बुर्का पहनने पर प्रतिबंध लगाने का फैसला लिया है... इसके साथ ही देश भर में 1 हजार से ज्यादा इस्लामिक स्कूलों को भी बंद करने की तैयारी है.. पब्लिक सिक्योरिटी मंत्री सरत वीरशेखरा ने शनिवार को एक प्रेस कॉन्फ्रेंस में बताया कि राष्ट्रीय सुरक्षा के लिहाज से बुर्का पहनने पर बैन लगाया गया है। मैंने शुक्रवार को कैबिनेट की मंजूरी के लिए पत्र लिखा था। इस पर कैबिनेट ने मंजूरी दे दी है। अब इस फैसले पर संसद आखिरी मुहर लगाएगी। पहले यहां मुस्लिम महिलाएं और लड़कियां बुर्का नहीं पहनती थीं। यह धार्मिक अतिवाद का प्रतीक है, जो हाल ही में प्रचलन में आया है। हम इसे जरूर बैन करेंगे।
