AB de Villiers is considered to be one of the greatest batsman of the new millennium. He is the scorer of the fastest century in ODIs and has scored close to 20000 runs in international cricket. He is one of the rare players who has succeeded equally in all formats of the game.
Apart from possessing extraordinary skills on the park, Ab de Villiers has also been regarded as a true sportsman and a gentleman. While he’s been ruthless with the bat in his hand, he hardly lost his cool and usually was always calm and collected even in the face of adversity.

Khaya Zondo testified during the Social Justice and Nation Building hearings and mentioned how AB de Villiers blocked him from playing an ODI against India in 2015.
